True I just think a post like that in a thread of this nature is uncalled for. Coming from the person who started the thread in the first place I find it a little odd. I suspect they don't have much life experience considering some of the other threads they've started that I've replied to. I also wonder if he might be a troll.

Are you now agreeing with him that I'm going to suffer eternal damnation if I off myself due to a neurological illness? I'm confused because I'm accusing someone of being a troll because their posts could really be hurtful to people. What he basically did was the equivalent of someone drinking a bottle of rum at an alcoholics anonymous meeting. To me that's trolling. Either that or he's that oblivious.

Believes in what?

There are probably close to or over 7 billion people on the planet. 2.2 billion are Christians (most forcefully converted by European invaders), 1.6 billion are Muslims, about a billion are Hindu and about 500 million are Buddhists. All other religions amount to about 500 million. Out of all of them Hindu and Buddhism are the oldest ones that predate Christianity by thousands of years. Each religion has a different view of gods and afterlife so which one is correct. Which is the one true god? What if you believe in the wrong one and the Muslims or Hindu are right? You'll be so screwed man!

To tell you the truth now that i searched some things suicide not only goes with AS but also with NT population in a big scale.I didn't know that,i just wanted to see why are AS, those who are,suicidal.Because of bullying?Or life in general the hard things that Nt's also have?

We're more prone to suicidal thoughts than NT's. Obviously because we have a harder time dealing with life in general. Learning disabilities and psychiatric disorders like Bi polar,OCD, generalized anxiety, depression, and even personality disorders are very co-morbid with AS. These make some people feel too impaired to function. They often have very low self esteem and a shallow thresh hold for going into major depression. Suicide attacks can happen during meltdowns too where someone feels too overloaded by life like they can't keep up and they aren't good enough anyway. NTs can get suicidal but we have a lot more things against us to increase the likelihood of suicidal thoughts.

Wthat about afterlife?Ok they may not believe but if they did it and think nothing like afterlife they are f*****.

I've been down, but never suicidal.

I figure that things can always get better, and so my goal when I am down is to work to make them better.

Also killing myself would hurt my family... I would rather be there for them.

EDIT:

P.S. I hadn't noticed the thread had went religious, but I personally believe in a merciful God, so if someone commits suicide it is at Gods discretion where to put them, and being merciful I think it would depend on your circumstances (not to encourage anybody).

I was recently (and for a long time prior to that) I was very depressed and wanted to die. I don't know if I ever would have been able to do it myself though.

I voted no because I am no longer depressed and no longer want to die.

Well I have depression and get suicidal, so I'm already in hell...........so what difference does it make if I spend all eternity there? :twisted:
