what's your favourite mode of transport?

my favourite "form" of transport is a comfortable seat that gets me where to i want to go in an acceptable amount of time.
my favourite "mode" of transport is dependent of the form of transport that is applicable to my destination.

i have the most fun as a passenger of an aeroplane, but if i need only to go to my letterbox, then the form of transport that is applicable is not requisite of an airplane (U.S spelling thrown in there).

if i need to get a letter out of my mail box, i will walk.

if i need to go to the bakers 1 mile (1.6 km) away, i will drive a car.

if i need to go interstate then i will prefer flying.

if i need to go to perth for example, i would "walk" to my car, and "drive" my car to the airport, and then sit in a plane and "fly" the rest of the way.

i do not like boats. i never have.

Cycling, though unfortunately my city is very bicycle unfriendly. Walking is good as well, I can walk pretty long distances if I want to.

My favourite mode of transport is walking. Coming from a small town and a small college, I am used to walking everywhere. On good days I will walk upwards of seven miles in one day.

I don't care much for cars or planes. I really love trains! They make me feel like I finally found the time period I was meant to be in.

Posting that picture just cost me £109 as I got all nostalgic for the model kit they never produced when I wanted one back in the 60s, but just found one on Amazon.

Then of course Iam going to have to get all the paints and the aftermarket LED light kit!

As if I haven't got enough hobbies I haven't got the time to keep up with!

i already have the jupiter 2. i only use it when i need to go to outer space.

in this clip i am headed back home to Kepler 62 f from heathrow airport. there is no sound in space, so the music begins when the atmosphere ends. the inertial oscillation thrusters provide continuous acceleration for 12 months before the transition into hyper space. the only problem with the vehicle is that the bathroom heater is not working.

Roller coaster.
All roads an rail should be replaced with them so I can enjoy travel.
Or a sedan chair with crowds throwing chocolates and mini- bar bottles of beverage.

Until then, I'll have to drive I guess

Anything but cars. I hate cars for some reason. I think they are wasteful, especially when one person is driving them...yes, I think about the environment at lot. I love taking the bus and anything where I'm not the only one travelling.

Ever since I was a kid, I have been very fascinated with airplanes. I still am. I just love the whole experience of being in one...plus anything related to jet aviation.

Condsidering the "outdoor" temperature at that altitude, a nonfunctioning bathroom heater could be an issue...

I get motion sickness fairly easily, so I don't do well with travel.
However, I love flying (jets, can't stand the propeller aircrafts), though I usually fall asleep whenever the flight starts taxiing and wake up at landing. Total waste of a trip, IMO.
I like long train rides, because it lets me see the countryside and actually 'feel' like I'm going somewhere. Also, you can get up and move around.
I also like those big boat rides, that take a day or two (or more). I only been on two, since they are a bit expensive (I have to have a cabin with a window, and I always end up shopping too much taxfree [candy]).
And I like going in car-rides, but I get sich after 30min-1h, so... My self-defence strategy is generally to fall asleep within the first 45min, which is another great waste of a trip. And it makes me a horrid travel-companion.
I also like walking, it is very meditative for me. I try to spend an hour every day aimlessly walking around, letting my brain take a break.

it would be if there were any humans aboard. they would have to leave the bathroom door open while they went about satisfying their toiletry requirements.

i do not need to wash or evacuate waste products so it is not a problem for me, however i am still unhappy about it. things should work.

A car and I have to be the one driving. I get car sick and anxiety with every other form of transportation or if someone else is driving.
