When somebody is talking about me and thinks I don't hear, when all the while I hear every word of it. I don't mean ''talking about me'' in a nasty way, just something genuine, but it still annoys me. Here's a small example:-

(Someone is standing right outside my bedroom door talking to someone else).
Person 1: I've got some T-shirts here I think Joe90 might like
Person 2: Oh, that's nice of you, I will just get Joe90 to come out and have a look at them
Person: I think she will like them
Person 2: Yes, she will, hang on, I will ask her
Person 1: Where is she?
Person 2: In her room, I will just ask her.....
(Comes into my room and opens mouth to speak)
Me: Yes, [name] has got some T-shirts for me, how thoughtful, I will go and have a look at them now, like you said

Like, how am I not going to hear what they're saying when they're talking about me right outside my bedroom door?! And my family knows I don't listen to music on my headphones.

Also

I hate it when people cough because they seem to cough so loudly. I've been told my coughs are bearable and I know they are, but other people seem to cough loud enough to wake the dead.

I hate it when people clear their throat, go ''hhmmm-hrrmmm-hmm'' - it's f*****g annoying! I've got a permanent patch of mucus there in my throat what I can't seem to get rid of, but you don't see me sitting there making those f*****g annoying noises. I make the odd one, but making a distracting din like that just makes it sore.

I hate when people sneeze loudly. A sneeze is a natural bodily function, I know that because I sneeze all the time (due to bad sinus issues), but I just let them come out naturally. Some people delibrately let their sneeze come out so loud it makes everyone jump.

I hate it when people yawn really loudly. I think I've mentioned this earlier in this thread, but I might aswell mention it again. I just wish people would yawn without doing that f*****g annoying roar that they do while yawning, it's f*****g annoying, nobody could possibly ignore that noise. If people hate it when I laugh loud (which I very rarely do), then people must hate it when people make that loud yawning sound. It's equally as annoying.

OK, I got the bodily functions part over with. I do hate the loud noises people make, but I suppose the neurotypical is what everybody are meant to be so I guess I'm not surprised that natural bodily functions make loud sounds. It's just f*****g annoying! :D

The volume of a cough is sometimes increased because a person may have to put more force behind it to clear chest congestion. If I have a good bit of congestion in my chest, my cough is louder than a cough from a postnasal drip, etc.

Also, some people have more mucos in their throughts and upper airways than others and at times it is an obstacle to breathing, and a louder more forceful throat clearing is what it takes to get it out.

Removing chest congestion and obstacles to breathing are more important than keeping a nice quite polite social sounding cough or throat clearing. Of course some people do that all the time and that is just habit on their part.

As for sneezing, I have always sneezed loud and can't help it. Even when I try and keep it quite, it comes out as "ahhhh-CHOOOOOOO". There is nothing I can do about it, I've tried. No matter where I am, that's how it comes out.

Do most places have laws about that? I know we don't here. Most people around here let their dogs outside to go. Unless they are dogs that are kept strictly in a fenced backyard, you are likely to find poop in people's yards. Most tend to go in their own yards (there are a lot of dogs on my street that run loose) but sometimes you can see them smelling around in other peoples yards and then pooping or peeing there, because another dog did, or a cat. My street isn't busy at all, and in the summer it's very common to see a dog or cat just laying in the middle of the road. Sometimes the sound of the car is enough to make them move, other times you have to stop and blow the horn at them to make them get out of the way.

As for the poop, I've never really seen any on a sidewalk or in the road. It's mainly in the grass beside the road or sidewalk, even in the city.

sexism, racism, homophobia, general intolerance

(thank goodness a few of my triggers match up with the rules on WP)

i am also annoyed by people who try to "prove" their opinions regarding the above categories by manipulating data, deliberately misrepresenting scholarly studies, or omitting a preponderance of dissenting information

Speaking of yawning reminds me of a funny letter in the paper years ago when someone said the next person who yawns on the train without covering their mouth will get a mirror put up in front of them so they can see what they look like.

My brother smiling at me used to bother me, but it's usually because I associated it with him laughing after I made some mistake, but instead of laughing he'd smile at me.

People being in the same room with me well I'm eating (other than dinner time, which I'm too used to), I'm not worried about them judging me, but I like to concentrate on what I'm eating instead of thinking about how they might be thinking about me and what I'm doing.

When people say "HUH?!" too much, or if they be too polite about it and say something too needless like "pardon me, could you repeat what you just said". "What?" is usually fine, and anything else will probably bother me too some degree.

When people call me "sir", makes me feel like I have to be formal about everything.

There's that tolerance thing rearing its head.

Hyperlexian also makes me pretty angry.

I can't stand people who try to hide their own misandry or gender bias by calling everything sexist, when they are actually the ones who are sexist themselves.

Oh, agree completely! I know I shouldn't get so upset, but I really don't understand when people do that. In effect, they are saying that they know me better than I know myself. Umm. Really?! And then they really hit a nerve when they go on to say what I will or won't do in a given situation. Uhh. Well, we can certainly find out right now, if you are game. They tend to back off, then.

I get more annoyed by it than most people. The level annoyance it causes me is what is unusual.

i don't have any gender bias or misandry going on. in fact i challenge you to find a single instance where i have demonstrated such a bias. my posts are public - go ahead.

Hyperlexian

I have some questions for you. I believe that we all have biases and prejudices due to nature and nurture. When I read or examine things I'm filtering it through my own perceptions. Could it be that they're interpreting the data through their own perceptions? Are the scholary studies a model of the real world or is it a model of the study creator's perception of the real world? For those who read and use the studies could it be their interpretation of the study creator's interpretation of the real world?

People who laugh at disabled children. There was one video on youtube where a little girl with a very painful-looking neck deformity was singing and dancing into her camera, just trying to be cheerful in what is probably a life of torture, and there were so many people making fun of her in the comments that she or her family took the video down. Then other people re-uploaded it, to continue laughing at her. Literally thousands of people found her misfortune absolutely hilarious.

The particular kind of anger and hate that this kind of thing invokes is so intense that it actually feels pretty creepy.

Noise is also a big deal, of course, but that's usually a given, with autism.

I would get angry too but I see it all too often. God has a special place for those people whether they believe it or not.
