It's nice to have a job in research

I can research anything and everything - where to stay on a trip, the merits of various diet plans.

The trouble is, the internet makes research so open-ended.

I spend much more time researching how to do something than I spend actually doing it. A recipe for failure and non-acheivement.

I agree with you. It would be great to find employment or self employment opportunities relating to research. I will find a way to make this manifest. I'll use my research skills to make this into a reality.
