- Animation
- Cars (the Disney movies and Cars themselves)
- Dolphins, Whales (Cetaceans)
- Crows, Ravens (Corvidae)
- Raccoons
- Transformers (both G1 and the Michael Bay movies)
- Drawing
- Where the Wild Things Are (movie)
- Stuffed animals
- Die cast Cars
- My Little Pony (G1 and G4)
- British Comedy
- The Raccoons (Canadian animated series from the 1980s)
- Voice Actors (you know, like Hans Conreid, June Foray, Daws Butler, Thurl Ravenscroft, etc - I've actually gotten pretty good at identifying voices just by listening to them carefully)
- Sterling Holloway
-Calico Critters (the little flocked animals similar to Sylvanian Families)
- My favorite cartoon characters (like Mater, Susie the Little Blue Coupe, Bert Raccoon, Wilt, Fluttershy, Sideshow Bob)
- Photography
- Food, mostly sweets, pastries, cookies, anything like that
- Exploitation movies from the 1960s and 70s (I honestly don't know how that fascination started; it's one of my strangest interests  )

German Shepherds/working dogs/shutzhund
sharks
serial killers/criminal psych/murder mysteries
cooking
downhill mountain biking
motorcycles and cars
Dexter/Breaking Bad/Grey's Anatomy

Once in a while, movies... usually movies are too long for me to be able to watch, but occasionally I'll become obsessed with a random movie for months. Armageddon, LOTR, Horse Whisperer, Departed. Typically, anything with a really powerful score that stays with me.

I also go through these phases with music. Florence and the machine, Johnny Cash, movie scores... it'll last anywhere from a month to years and then I sort of forget about it. When I was a kid I was really into renaissance choir music.

Does anyone else have a special interest in a particular band? Because I'm pretty sure you can guess what mine is by looking at my avatar and signature  They're my biggest obsession right now.

Also, psychology, art, writing, history (especially the Cold War period), animals (especially bears), medicine.

I'm not sure if it's really a Special Interest, but I love Science Fiction, especially video clips of awesome spaceship battles.

I'm with you there on that one! Most schools completely overlooked the Cold War and Atomic Age altogether. I find it utterly fascinating.
