I'm 37 now, but people here in Holland estimate me 30. In South Africa, however, they think I'm ten to thirteen years younger! Last month I was in SA again, which has been a rather rejuvenating experience! A girl even told me I looked 22, 23. So that's 15 years younger. Unbelievable. Probably because SA people's skins look older because of sunburn. On the other hand, I have always been several years behind in things that are considered normal behaviour for people my age ("latebloomer"), and I may come across younger because I seem easily impressed by information and by what people say. Luckily, I'm also quite tall, so that compensates the youthfulness in a good way.
In Tony Attwood's book (2006) I have read that women fancy men with Asperger's because they have these "angelical, symmetrical faces" and they are behind in many aspects of their development, which some women like; especially women with strongly motherly feelings and women who are insecure about their own appearance.
I wonder: is there a physiognomic aspect to Asperger's? Isn't it just limited to a cerebral state?
