Ditto IQ tests. If it's clear that you don't have any learning disabilities and your IQ is >70, there's no need for an IQ test either.
I had no previous diagnosis for anything coming into this. They were not only testing for Autism but for other possible diagnoses as well so that they could be ruled out.
The IQ test was done to establish quantitative variances for processing speeds and other things, not to see if it was over 70.
