Ahh, yes, the recurring theme that those we made feel uncomfortable took it upon themselves to persecute us.

The corollary of this being, discomfort does not necessarily equal intimidation. Or as a former housemate once said to me, "You don't frighten me, but you do freak me out.". 8O

I live in Ethiopia now, and we don't just use our hands, we wrap the food in injera first!
