My 7 year old has only eaten chicken nuggets, fishsticks, hot dogs and meatbealls for about 5 years now. The occasional fruit or yogurt sometimes. I can't get him to eat anything else. no vegetables or potatoes. I don;t know what he woudl eat if he got tired of them???

My 7 year old Aspie is very fussy in his food. The only vegies he will eat is broccoli, carrot and potato. The only fruit is watermelon.

He eats the same meal for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea ... depending on the fad at the time.

He's been going through a bread with peanut paste and a tiny bit of honey (if you put too much honey on he complains it's too sticky, cries, and won't eat it).

He eats a 'proper' meal at night with meat and veges ... but I've learnt to only cook for him the 3 or 4 dishes he will eat.

I eat almost exclusively fast food right now. (Largely because I hate cooking and I'm a disaster in the kitchen anyway...) I've got a real thing for Del Taco quesadillas.

David Lynch ate lunch at Bob's Big Boy every day for 7 years, and that he had to have his salad cut and tossed in just such a way that every bite of salad tasted exactly like every other.

Oh, this is so me! It's nice to not be alone. Although the depressed mother, I think, kind of fits in too. Right now, with some variation, it's cottage cheese and nacho cheese Doritos (think of the cottage cheese as a dip). I have some physical disabilities, so I'm not very active in the kitchen these days - and I have a lazy streak!

Every Sunday morning for the past three years at Norma's Restaurant:
Ham steak, 2 eggs over easy, home fried potatoes, white toast, coffee.

I eat pizza practically everyday. It has to be cheese pizza though. I really can't see myself ever getting sick of it. Pizza is really the perfect food. Perfect taste, perfect texture, and depending where it's from/what brand (if it's a frozen pizza) the leftovers still taste good enough for the next time I get hungry (most foods I won't eat after they were left in the 'fridge). I especially like the kinds with like 5 kinds of cheese.

What's the point of eating things you don't like as well when you could just eat your favorite food?

When I cook for myself at uni I always cook pasta with a sauce. I do vary a bit, such as a few different sauces but I can't get myself to try other things because I feel comfortable eating this. I'm not a fussy eater though if I have to eat other things then I'm ok with that, but when I'm at uni and life is a bit more stressfull I like routines even more.

During my college days I ordered the same food everyday from a local lunch truck - chicken salad sandwich & french fries.

At some of my local haunts some of the staff will finish off my orders. When things start getting too 'familiar' at a particular joint I keep my distance for a bit. I much prefer a detached dining experience.
