Look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmospheric_pressure

Air pressure more or less is related to how much air is above you. That's why the pressure is lower on high mountains.

I take it your a psychologist. Is your test a game or is it an accurate indicator of Aspergers?

It doesn't make a difference. He is doing what any scientist would. He found a people he wants to identify(AS people), finds unusual traits they have(They say they are diagnosed), and refines the questions and how they are interpreted based on input from boards like this and his test. Frankly, a psychologist couldn't do any better. I think he did well, even if I AM one of the lowest scorers that still shows as AS. 8-(

Then does he test his test on real live confirmed Aspergers people and if so how accurate is the test.

No, it hasn't been tested on live Aspies. That's the whole idea about making the comparison with the AQ-test. The AQ test have been tested on live AS, so if Aspie-quiz scores correlate highly with AQ-scores it must be reliable as well. Apart from that, every version asks about dx-information so it is known that only about 10% of diagnosed AS is "misdiagnosed" (by professionals or Aspie-quiz). Besides, the test is using the label "Aspie" and not "Asperger's syndrome" for a reason. Aspie-quiz shouldn't require any problems, as DSM does, to get high scores. Problems and environment should not affect Aspie-quiz score.

Scoring on Aspie-quiz is based on factor-analysis of previous versions, unlike any other AS-test that uses manual scoring (the AQ-test included). This does result in slightly higher misdiagnosis of AS, but it is a more objective method that doesn't rely on my own preconceptions about which traits are important.

Ok. I think it is a very good quiz with well thought questions, i find i score quite consistently having tested on the older version.

Funny thing is that my shrink and most of the people I speak with think of me as very high functioning.

But if you go beyond the DSM to include things like short term memory, well, I have a lot of anxiety about how prepared for life I am.

Okay...

I take issue with the idea that AS is more mathematical than verbal, however.
