Also, I guess I just don't understand who in their right mind would try to purchase a product from a source that's created tons of spam messeges about the same thing that are in terrible english and scream SCAM. But I take it there are people that would see all that spam and be like...you know I really trust them to sell me a genuine product?
Well, let us see:
1.) There are people who still believe that Microsoft is actually calling them to warn them that they have been trying to contact them about a serious security flaw on their computer. Story on that one below....
2.) Nigerian prince scheme....still active and still working despite all the publicity
3.) Click bait emails that are just crazy enough to be true...if you;re waiting on a delivery, and you get an email saying something about a delivery...you gotta be careful because that happens to me when I'm ordering things.
Got a bunch of calls for a while from people claiming to be from Microsoft. They were calling to let me know they'd monitored a security flaw in my Windows setup. One time I went full prank call on them.
Did the old, confused man voice. Told them I was turning on my computer, asked them why there was a glowing fruit on the lid. He politely informed me that it was an apple and that was no problem. Then old them I had to log in and faked a log in....
"Let's see...user name...um....oh...E...E...T...M...E...E...E. Ok...let's see....Password...umm....P...H....U...K...Y...U..."
"Ok... I'm in....
OK..Now what do I do?"
"Well, Mr. Zkydz, you open your browser and then you go to this website..."
"Wait...I thought you were Microsoft...You young fellers trying to con me? You think I can't remember things? You said Microsoft! I'm going to bing! They're Microsoft!!""
That went on for 10 minutes. Then I played the "Bone-Wah" sound and hung up.....
