Plus, why should you get to sleep there, when you presumably have an actual room and a bed to sleep in? Why is that more valid than someone sleeping there who has no place else?
Anyway, the restaurant can't be asked to make those kinds of distinctions. They don't want people sleeping there, for whatever reason. Period. That's their prerogative.
