His red and white coat keeps him warm in the North Pole, and he enslaved the elves and tamed the flying reindeer :P

I rather like Avian's logo. There is something inherently imperial about it. If we used that symbol, we would be accused of becoming elitists no doubt, but that is all subjective.

If you want simple what about instead of a puzzle piece, a Rubic's cube kind of logo maybe a small scale cube with 9 subes on each side and while 8 are all in place only one is wrong color/wrong side?
Indicating that Aspies are isolated because they don't fit, while they are still part of society as the 9th cube is part of the other 8, and Rubic's Cube also represents our high IQ and abilities. I will work on the idea on Photoshop and post here the actual logo as I see it when it's done.

Oh, I LIKE that idea.

Here are the results:

Let me know what you think of the colors and rotation.

I said I have been 'working' on that for a while... :D
And feedback always helps push me ito the right direction...

Hey Star, you realize that Asperger's fits on one side of the cube if you put a letter in each square, and Syndrome is just ONE square off?

It's ASPERGER'S the apostrophy also counts as a 'letter' in proper typography so they are both 10 letters when you count.

Funnily enough, a character in my story who's on the Spectrum has a Dayol Cube: It's a magnetic puzzle in the form of a Rubik's Cube; you build the cube up using cubelets with magnetically charged sides, until you build the main cube. Looks like this:

Maybe the logo could be similar to your 'one piece is out of place' idea, but the other cubelets are darker shades of those colours?

Treating yellow as the top side and red as the right side:

Move the right side counterclockwise, the bottom side counterclockwise, the right side clockwise, the bottom side clockwise, the right side counterclockwise, the bottom side counterclockwise and the right side clockwise.

Then the cube will be solved.

WHO SAID THAT THE CUBE NEEDS TO BE SOLVED????
... or cured or fixed or anything else... I like the cube the way it is!

Diversity is the name of the game!

Haha LOL. Well solving cubes is one of the more interesting things to do with them I suppose.

Maybe you could choose colours that would be an impossible Rubik's Cube position to represent the nature of AS that means it ISN'T just a case of solving a puzzle.

This is exactly the point!

This is to symbolize the fact that even if something CAN be solved it might NOT NEED to be SOLVED!

And that the people out there who feel the urge to fix and cure, and thus also solve everything that seems to be out of place, out of synchronicity or out of tune with the rest, these people should have their brains solved instead, because ....

DIVERSITY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME!
