No, it's a pack of lies.

One of the people who made the video is the infamous Andrew Wakefield, who started the anti-vaxx movement when he claimed in 1998 that the MMR vaccine causes autism in a paper that was later thoroughly debunked by the real scientific community. Wakefield has since lost his certification to practice medicine and had to flee the UK. He now resides somewhere in Texas, making idiotic videos like the one you just presented.

That is going to be up to Alex.
Expressing an unpopular or “stupid” opinions is allowed with a few exceptions.
1. Do not say people who hold those views as a group are bad.
2. Opinions that are deemed triggering
2. Opinions that are deemed hate or supremacy towered a group

As noted earlier in the thread Anti vaxx views might be judged as hate towards autistic people because they view us as “vaccine injured” that need to be “recovered”, mutants not in a good X-Men way. jngystate has not attacked pro vaxxars as a group and her posts have skeptical of the pro vaxx consensus, they have not expressed full bore anti vaxx views. I think many people believe her skepticism is a cover for being an anti vaxxer, but this does not make it so.

If Alex or the mods were to decide to ban antivaxxers, I wonder what else they can ban members for? Where would the line be drawn?

People will always express opinions and views we don't like but I would hate to turn the whole place into communism where everyone is the same and it's an echo chamber.

I have finally learned to just ignore people and not bother engaging with them since they won't change their mind. Not let myself get provoked because I feel threatened by their view even if their view is BS like being an antivaxxer.

I don't believe Jngyslate should be banned.

She's only been mildly abusive to people at times. She not a full "anti-vaxxer," I don't believe. She's more like the "I only believe it when I see it" type of person.

I feel like she should only be banned if she personally attacks people either in threads, or in PMs.

I have not seen Jngyslate and can't even find her posts here when I use search. Perhaps the mods have already taken care of her?

I don't feel she was that bad. She was a little mocking----nothing more than that.

Her opinions I didn't agree with.

I agree she's not a full on anti-vaxxer and shouldn't be treated as harshly as one. But she's definitely riled up some folks around here who have strong opinions on the matter (myself included). I feel that, (and I can only speak for myself), if someone is anti-vax, what other conspiracies do they believe in? I just think that a place for autistic people like us to be ourselves and not have to worry about the stigma of the NT world shouldn't have anti-vaxxers around, at least until a connection is found (which I don't believe it ever will, but never say never I guess?)

jngyslate, if you don't get banned, just know that many of us feel the way we do about anti-vaxxers because of the very topic of this thread: they think of us as broken and perpetuate false stereotypes, not to mention the fear they instill in many soon-to-be-parents of having a child that thinks and expresses itself differently.
