Yeah, I taught myself how to draw using a mouse. And then I learned how to draw with pencil.

For reference, my own avatar is chosen because of this article I wrote, just so that you don't come up with any strange connotations for it. It's a metaphor for the ridiculousness of going entirely with the subcategories of autism (and of other things, for that matter) that professionals assume exist without solid evidence, and tell us we have to fit neatly into.

I'd say my av does sum me up pretty well - happy and energetic with a moody side lurking a little further in... I guess. It's an enlarged version of an icon used for MySpace friend updates.

I taught myself how to draw in my year off from school and did it all with a mouse. I studied other people's drawings and just observed stuff that was around me . . . For example . . .
