You know how they make something cool out of the letters of 'autism'? (a - always u - unique t - totally i - interesting s - sometimes m - mysterious) I'd think it's cool if there were something for the letter of As too, maybe:

A - awesome
S -
P -
I - innovative
E - enigmatic

You could use all kinds of words.

Or:

Autistic/Aspie and awesome!

I also like 'I'm autistic. What's your excuse?'. But that's not one of the nicer shirts of course.

A - aimless
S - silly
P - pedantic
I - intellectually
E - enigmatic

That about sum's it up for me right now :P

A - a
S - social
P - person
I - in
E - essence

There are some on geeky websites like Think Geek that pertain to social interaction. One says, "You read my shirt. That's enough social interaction for one day." I've been thinking about getting that one. Some others are about hating sunlight, with might work for you or not. One that I want to get some day says, "Baby Einstein was autistic," which is, of course, a play on the Baby Einstein stuff and how some parents will think that will make their babies smarter, but at the same time, they're terrified of autism.

BTW, I love your icon of the tenth Doctor. It's awesome.

There are 10,000 kinds of smiles, I have aspergers syndrome, I have no idea which smile you are using, that is why I frown

I've made shirts of my faves and actually bought a couple from cafepress.

My fave is an alien head that says "It's okay, I think you're weird, too."

"Sorry, I have Asperger's. I was born without the ass-kissing gene."

"I heard you, I'm still thinking."

"What? Is my Asperger's showing?"

"I'm not a strange neurotypical, I'm a normal Autistic."

These are just a couple of my favourites. We had autism awareness month and I got in trouble for a few of mine at work, but I told them that it was autism awareness month, and I was making people aware that not all autism looks the same. I work in disabilities, you'd think people would have a better sense of humour, than that.

I may have said this before...

"When two people talk to me at the same time, it just wastes three people's time."

You did, but it's still amusing. And thought provoking.

Yeah, I kinna like to point out to people that autism is not what they think and that we're a spectrum of individuals, not a bunch of drooling flapping corner huggers.
