Sorry to once again knock you out of the competition Strapples, but as a matter of fact I DO like people laying on top of me, especially if they are really heavy.
Kinda hard to ask "Hey would you mind laying on top of me for a sec?" though :(
My thing with making coin-towers and rolling around in the coins is still uniq though 8)

Yay so there is another person who likes getting laid on top of... i especially like it from extremely heavy people...

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Does genetically engeniering humans to have fur like animals qualify as a wierd idea?
If so double yup.

8O I had a HUGE plastic box filled with Cat Fancy magazines and my walls AND ceiling were completely papered in the cat posters that came with them. I had years and years worth of them crammed in my closet when the box wouldn't hold anymore.

My special interest that took over is medical science. I love discussing medical conditions and researching the conditions, treatments, medications, medication side effects/interactions and testing/diagnostic procedures. Aside from doctors, I've never met anyone else like me.

Furries. Also, the heroine of John Varley's novel "The Ophiuchi Hotline" had her lower legs re-engineered to grow chinchilla fur.

On the other hand, I read atlases for fun - my particular favorite being the Gazetteer series, with graphic depictions of the actual appearance of the land.

I don't know.. But ive heard thats common with aspies sooo you need to enter a new competition entry since this one is bust.

Yep, I don't know if I have AS, but I do LOVE making lists. I even started a thread about lists in the random discussion section.

I also love to look at things that are perfectly lined, up, arranged, or categorized. It's kinda hard to explain. I get a very happy, fulfilled feeling when my dishes are stacked in perfect order, or my clothes in my closet are lined up by category, and color, things like that.

from my dictionary:

Quote:
taxonomy |takˈsänəmē|
noun chiefly Biology
the branch of science concerned with classification, esp. of organisms; systematics.
• the classification of something, esp. organisms : the taxonomy of these fossils.
• a scheme of classification : a taxonomy of smells.

I enjoy the taxonomic classification of living organisms.

No, I do not mean snakes. I mean legless lizards. Snakes and lizards are not defined by their number of limbs or lack thereof. They have numerous other differences. Lizards have external ears; snakes do not. Lizards have fixed jaws; snakes can unhinge their jaws. Most lizards have eyelids; no snakes have eyelids. Lizards have long tails; snakes have short tails. And the list goes on and on. Genetic evidence indicates that snakes are descended from monitor lizards, the varanids. Legless lizards belong to two other families. Limblessness, in snakes and legless lizards, is an adaptation to a fossorial (burrowing) lifestyle.

BTW, my avatar is a legless lizard, the scheltopusik.

the study of snakes is Herpetology...;)
I like people laying on me, but only the missus, and only for, ahem, certain reasons (why should I always have to do all the work?...;)

There's a whole genre of prawngagraphy (you know what I really mean..;) referring to 'furries'. There's even 3d characters devoted to it. Don't do nothin' for me, though...;) But then I don't see the appeal of anime (a Japanese art form where the object is to have as little movement in the cartoon as possible...;)

i'm sure other people like this but it's something that i like. tossing and catching things while listening to music. i've got a letter opener that i got at the Chateau de Versailles that i toss, catch, toss, catch. i used to do it with change, and i once spend over 3hrs tossing a ball at a wall in front of my bed at boarding school while listening to music.

another one is making piles. i like stacking things for some reason. there was a recent Cyanide and Happiness comic about it and i found it doubly funny because i actually enjoy stacking things when i'm bored.

thats cool, my bd is 8 26 19 8 5

i often attach colors to numbers arbitrarily 0 is light blue, 1 is blue, 2 is red, 3 is fushia, 4 is yellow, five is red, 6 is blue, 7 is an ugly brownish yellow color, 8 is black, and 9 is sapphire.

i can say im the only person i know who likes that.

I do that too! I have done it since I learned to count, and now I can't stop... whenever I memorize a number, I memorize colours, which is why I always mix up the order of the numbers.
0= clear/transparent, 1= white, 2 = yellow, 3=orange, 4=pink, 5=red, 6=indigo, 7=green, 8=brown, 9=sky blue.

Welcome, BTW! :)

I like looking at colour filters, especially Rosco brand, and combining them, and seeing what effect they have on objects.

I like to look at molecular structure diagrams of different dyes, alkaloids, esters, protiens, and hydrocarbon compounds, even though I'm not really a chemist. I just think they're interesting to look at. :?
