I have an idea, please do not take offense. There is a chemical for training dogs not to bite, you can buy it in a spray-bottle in pet stores, it tastes very bad but does not harm you in any way. You could maybe try spraying that on your hands and other stuff you do not want to bite, so you will only bite specific things? Sorry if it was suggested already, did not have time to read through 6 pages to check.

Riddick124 your idea as stated would possibly work... but she also likes to chew on her boyfriend.. so he would have to submit to bathing in the stuff hahaha...

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Have you tried the type of bite guard that dentists prescribe for people who grind their teeth at night?
They make talking more difficult, but put a blunt cover over your teeth so they aren't so sharp.

I used to bite as a small child. My mother had enough one day and bit me very, very hard and I never did it again. I do grind my teeth though so even its probably good, as others have said to find something you can really bite into.

Have you tried kong dog toys? http://www.kongcompany.com/worlds_best.html

They have a weird shape but i suppose you could cut them to whatever shape you want. They are bloody tough, not even our dogs can chew through them. I don't know how much you would like to chew on them though, they are rubbery but have very little give.

You could also try various polymers like polystyrene and the legions of other polys and ethyls that are virtually indestructible. Some could be toxic but i know many are safe. I am not sure how many are 'rubbery' to any degree but i don't know how important that is to you, it would certainly be better on your teeth than metal.

Maybe a rubber cylinder wrapped with carbon fiber would work, it would probably have little give though. I'm not sure how well carbon fiber holds up under those conditions either, it is hard to break but i have no idea how hard it is to cut. You could try kevlar or some of that super hard foam stuff that turns into something comparable to rubber.

Best of luck in figuring out how not to use your bf as a chew toy.

Did a little searching on google and you may want to look up the following.

Polypropylene.

Polybutadiene.

Poly(styrene-butadiene-styrene).

Resilin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resilin

Polyether block amide.

Some of those may have some toxic properties so be sure to do some research. I'm not sure if resilin can be purchased yet or not. None of these may suit your needs but you may be able to use several materials to make something that will work. If you find something strong enough but too stiff or non-porous you could layer it with something else. I have used several plastics for cages, hides, doors, windows, etc for reptile enclosures and they come in so many varieties I'm sure you could find at least one or a combination of a few that will work for you.

Not to mention rubbers and plastics are my favorite things to chew on. :)

silentchaos is right, those kong toys are very strong. You may want to try one. I don't think they can be bitten through. A smallish one may work best.
