He also wrote this about WP (the bad spelling is his not mine)

I would be hypocrite to slam this video , I myself don't believe in psychiatry ...psychiatry is a pseudo-science.

Asperger/HFA is dxed by psychiatries nowadays, real brain doctors are still unable to make such diagnose because there's no too much tangible and organic symptoms to base on.

in short , I have big big doubts about HFA/AS , leaning to believe that we live in an illusion and we just have weird personalities /personality disorders or something else that we don't know about.

I wanted to watch this video , I think it's stupid to launch such an assault against him , I emailed the guy and I will get the video soon.I want to hear his side of story.

Sorry guys, but I couldn't support you this time.

Looking at their website, the video was slammed because Alex makes money from aspies using this site. Interestingly, from everything I've seen, running this site costs alex money.

Well there can be only one explanation for that. Alex is a very deceptive con artist, who is making millions by taking money away from us, and we're just to blind to realize it. Now I know what happened to those three pennies I left by the computer - Alex came through my screen and grabbed them when i wasn't looking

Edit: Actually, since they said that, couldn't Alex potentially sue them for slander/libel regardless of whether or not they claim it is a joke? Now i'm not recommending he do that, but telling them he's considering suing to shut down their website is a result of their libelous claims might have interesting results

I missed the video but read the text.

Gave me something to think about.

I have been asking it all along, are we enabling ourselves? We have a diagnosis and a computer .We have been told what our limitation is and a way to make sure it doesnt impove by socially withdrawing ourselves.

I am glad I wasnt diagnosed younger. I fought to do everything I wanted.

My self or outwardly imposed label was simply : eccentric.

I had a suspicion that this guy (or rather, these guys) had Asperger's syndrome and were even on this site, but this disclaimer confirms it as well as anything Netcraft could say.

Claiming something is a joke doesn't make it one. And thats actually a school bullies most common response when confronted "I was only joking." So i called your mom a wh****, told you you were a lose, told everyone else I caught you with your pants down licking a rock, etc but you have no reason to be slightly upset because after all I was only joking.

Saying something you know is offensive and harmful is a joke just so you can get away with it is the lamest and most unbelievable excuse in the book

Nope. Malicious intent does not mean what the poster feels hes doing. Its what he's actually doing. US sites have been permanently for the same reason, like that guy in california whose site listed all major child activities in the state, and nothing else. Its like what I aid above, just because someone claims what they're doing is a joke, doesn't mean it is one. There is enough on the front page of his site to prove without a doubt he is maliciously harming wrongplanet. Thats all thats needed. It doesn't matter what he feels, it only matters what he does and the repercussions of those actions.

Theres no way you can go through life no "offending" SOMEONE.

The very fact I eat meat offends some people. What can I do?

I knew whoever made that listing was AS because they were saying things in only a way an Asperger would know. I liked the different perspective.

The major differnce between this and straight out bulling is you don't have to read it or listen to it. As for how it affects the rest of the population and thier view of us we still have no control over that. Those who know of AS think its a "childhood disease" and those whove heard of autism still think Rainman.

The guy was right. You watch when the populace at large gets ahold of AS it will become over diagnosed becaus ethe media will scare parents into thinking its a boogeyman around every corner. The pharmacudical companies will have to come up with some thing to calm everyones fears and make a buck.

And every self piting teenager whos too lazy to make an effort will jump on the bandwagon.
