Does anybody hate their own race?

Sometimes I hate the human race. Skin color doesn't matter. All humans are equally bad in my book. Well most anyway.

Yes, why can't we all just come together and agree that everyone sucks irrespective of race color or creed.

What is everyone defining as "race" here, because it seems like there are several different things, and I'm slightely confused.
Personally, I'm not 'ashamed' to be white, but ashamed of what whites have done to others.
However, to be more precise, I hate being German. I have nothing but bad experiences because of it and it makes me really uncomfortable with myself.

Germany has had a LOT happen in such a small space. With all the press, etc... You would think the country is FAR bigger than it is. They have seen some of the worst internally, but have far higher standards. The SAME thing has happened elsewhere with similar effects. Although I couldn't really say if the action was there, the attitude certaily is in France. Interestingly, THEY were supposed to be some of the impetus for a similar thing to happen in ITALY when they gave rise to the "Morte alla Francia Italia Anela"! ("Death to French, Italy cries")! In the US, it was the KKK, and similar groups.

How to get a SANE country to act INSANE, and try to kill others seemingly based on race or culture...

1. Make sure the country has a high concentration of people working at menial jobs that require little thought.... Preferably ones that don't feel they can work elsewhere.
2. Have lots of foreigners come in to take the jobs or otherwise shift the wealth.
3. Have others turn a blind eye to it.
4. It will help problems develop if the foreigners don't seem to care/listen, etc....

If you think about it, this is why a lot of wars start. It is REALLY why the islamic terrorists attacked, etc... In NAZI germany, the people got togather and started a political party. Hitler figured out ways to increase their size and managed to get others to join that would have basically wanted the whole movement to die. They threatened others, and made it to where MANY had to go along.

I am not saying it is right, only that that is how it happened and Germany wasn't the only place. In ireland you could point to the IRA!

well, I'm mixed with Indian (from India), Amerindian (Arawak/Carib), native American (Cherokee), Native Mexican (Chicano), Anglo Saxon/Celtic & African (what most would call "black") needless to say race is a confusing and complicated concept to me

Though to be perfectly honest the concept of human race is scientifically a load of bullocks, its nothing more than a social construct with no taxonomic rigour or validity.

I am not keen on 'race' full stop to be perfectly honest.

I don't understand it at all, I can't understand how colour = hate.
Sometimes I wish everyone was colour blind.

I empty my crayons on the floor and I don't think the blues would hate pinks or the oranges hate purples.
My Cocker Spaniel is black and white and our family dog is black they get on fine with any colour dogs.

Its not right, I don't understand.

I do not think it is because you are autistic. There may be other factors. Were your caregivers bigoted in anyway? Did you suffer pain from others because of the accidental factor of race?

Might seem strange to ressurect this thread but for me this post^ this really does show why race is a completely stupid concept. How would you fill in one of those stupid forms that asks for your race or ethnicity?? The human race is becoming more and more diverse, hopefully to the point where one day everyone realises race is a defunct concept. I myself am half chinese and half irish and if I have children what will they be? Who knows, and more importantly does it matter?

Maybe not equally. Americans and French bug me more than the others... but still. All humans could be tortured to death for all I care... starting with the mundie majority. I'd be able to handle my own torturing too if necessary, knowing the suffering everyone else had been through. It would be worth it.


Plus I managed to avoid any "shame" regarding the matter by exploiting the simple fact that "species" isn't well-defined... taxonomically.... thus on technicalities there is nothing to stop me officially declaring myself a separate species.
I could probably get away with including you guys as well, but not without your permission. I expect some of you would rather be "human" and stay with the mundies.

Race is about as important to me as the color of one's socks, so no. As SotiCoti said, I dislike humanity in general.

I don't hate anyone. I may disagree with people sometimes, but I don't hate anyone.

I am bigoted against groupthink in all of its forms - racism, sexism, zealotry, homophobia, nationalism, culturalism, et al. This could be construed as a disdain for "whites" who are "like" myself, because it has been whites who have shoved their groupthink in my face as an American. "White" and "black" make as much sense as "yellow" or "brown" - we are talking about a widely varied ancestry classified on skin, hair, and eye characteristics. Race - as opposed to ethnicity - is a false measure, like grouping a black Labrador with a black Chao because of straight, black fur instead of breed.

Short answer "yes" with an "if", long answer "no" with a "but".

I hate the fact that a lot of my ancestors were German, because I'm worried that some of them might have had a ... ahem... "role" in WWII. I remember some kids in school calling me a Nazi when I told them about my German blood.

I used to wish that I was black instead of boring white. I manily wished to be black because I wanted to go to Africa to live there but my mother said that the native people would kill me because I was white. I later learned this wasn't true but my racist father still believes it.
