My past avatar feaked me out so much I decided to change it yesterday. I would like a more unique one, but Dino will do for now.

an avatar's a indication of likes, if not personality. the same with sig, I reckon. maybe it's the 'clothing of the internet' whereby we can gage someone else's demeanor, if not personalty.

Mine are the 'philisophic flavour of the month' avatars, always done in paint. unless you seriously hate skewered logic you probably have no beef with mine.

I recognize posters by their avatars first, and so people who change their avatar a lot kinda bothers me, I have never been scared of someones avatar though.

My own avatar has a long history behind it; he is a character I made for a comic years ago. His personality is much like my own (And he too only looks tough/evil on the outside, while being a lovable pile of fluff on the inside) Ofcourse, like in real life, people don't see personality when they look at someone. What might people think seeing my avatar for the first time? I don't know, but I sure hope they aren't intimidated by him.

Yes! Ebec's avatar reminds me of the flower from "The Wall".

I wonder if ppl would get treated even more differently if all of us had our pics on our avatars. I would be like, OMG I'm really conversing with a real person. I don't know if that would be good or bad. I guess it would depend on the jerk or nice person.

I chose my avatar in order to intimidate people and strike terror into their hearts. Mwahaha!!

The only one that freaked me out was this guy had one that was of an anime girl morphing into a monster that ate another guy's head. Kinda weird and fascinating at the same time.

Hey I know that one! I've seen more than one person use that image as their avatar or profile picture. I wonder if it was first posted in 4chan.

What books did you like to read? *Has a random image of Peter Pan :P*

Every book and especially graphic novel and comic in the house.

I mentioned Arbie's avatar because I had an old illustrated children's book with personified animals as characters.

AndersTheAspie avatar is very effective. If I'm scrolling down a page and I come across with the "Pay Attention Damnit!" I have to stop and read whatever he wrote. :)

I've seen this one too. I didn't like it but I had to look at it several times. It gave me a pleasant creepy feeling (if that makes sense).
