Agreed. I know a few NT people (or at least verry very social people) that a very creative. They are photographers, graphic artists, software developers, and musicians.
I pity people with a heart of stone, that take pleasure in mocking those that are different, especially if they are disabled. I pity those that aren't open minded. I pity those that don't ask questions but just accept things the way they are.

Nah, I don't think you're right there. I think that the social skills that NTs master will always be important for the survival of the humans. Working together, understanding each other, trying to let go of one's own perspective to embrace that of others, will always be important to tie countries and peoples together. The way the NT brain is wired, NTs would not be able to accept the development of, nor would they thrive in, a world where people simply co-exist as totally independent entities. NTs in general work in teams (or as many perfer to call it: packs), they pull together for a (more or less) common goal, and their socializing skills is the grease that makes this work smooth. There are wars, of course, but there will always be wars as long as there are humans that disagree on which direction to take.
The world, with all its challenges, stress, noise, unfairness and strife, with all its life-saving work to be done: digging water wells in desert areas, being doctors without borders in refugee camps, trying to preserve peace, fighting poverty, building schools in 3rd world countries, helping out in earthquake areas, etc, etc, is something that people will always adapt to.
I think that salvation for us humans lies in what we can do for our fellow humans. We must never lose that perspective.
Jaydee, that was amazing.

They are the Neanderthals of today. Contrary to popular belief, neanderthal man was probably not stupid - so don't think that's what I'm accusing neurotypicals of being. What I meant by technocentric world and them being dependent on such is that yes, whilst we too are dependent, we are better suited at such than they. As technology progresses, fewer of the average person is capable of understanding. Phones aren't scientific devices - they're magical plastic sticks that let you talk to people anywhere. I say that neurotypicals are archaic because they evolved and adapted to throwing pointy sticks at running animals. I believe Arthur C. Clarke mentioned something along those lines in one of his books...
Point being; they are neither superior nor inferior, but they are less capable in the emerging new world. As we are less capable in theirs. But, here's the thing: Their world is disappearing. Ours is emerging. Don't believe me? Alright, why don't you become a geneticist and do the research yourself? I pity them because they can't escape their own social environment. Most NT's are dependent upon an alpha. They are living in a world that is rapidly fading - and they haven't yet caught up to the idea.
Ten thousand years - there may not be any classical humans remaining, no homo sapiens sapiens. Human ego - both NT's and Aspies - often tries to deny it. To view yourself, or a genetic cousin, as being mortal and fallible seems incomprehensible. I pity them because they don't understand the lives they live. I pity them because they view Aspergers as being a disease, I pity them for not only their lack of understanding but their lack of capacity to understand me. I pity them because, as a whole, they are dying. Some wouldn't pity a dying man, but who wouldn't pity dying Man?

I agree with you. And another reason they're having more and more trouble adapting is that--for the most part--their level of comprehension gets stunted, and they can't think outside the box to the degree needed to keep their survival in the long run.
I believe most Autistic folks are more than capable of understanding these very things, as mostly we tend to favor logic & reason over emotion. Unfortunately, as long as many of us insist on feeling sorry for ourselves because we're not accepted by NTs, that true potential never shows.
I've tried to explain the things I understand to people...it really is beyond their comprehension.
A lot of times they even say "let's please stop discussing this"; it's because it's too much for their brains to handle. Well, not only that, but they find it scary because they can only understand it so much to a point. Beyond that point, they fear what they don't understand and the whole discussion just freaks them out.
Many things that NTs get worked up about every day( lots of it you hear on the news) I've discussed with my friend on the phone and told him "don't worry, you'll be fine; we all will".
but these are things most NTs just can't comprehend; but we can, should we chose to take advantage of what we have at our disposal.
These are intensely interesting posts, but I can't shake the feeling you have intense hatred when you write.
Not finding it here. Things I would suggest don't just fit them

Heh, that's funny; far from it, my good man.
From what I read on here, a lot of people seem to have a very idealistic viewpoint about humanity, with everyone working together and all that...aiming for some Utopian society.
Well, here's some reality which--cause and effect--will unintentionally crush your spirits: it don't exist.
That utopian society doesn't exist, and it can't exist, because humans aren't "programmed" that way. Humans are capable of finding problems, but not yet capable of finding solutions to those problems.
When I say 'capable' I mean "not able to comprehend". Once again...we Autistic people are indeed able to; well, ok I'm gonna be fair here: I've come to realize this stuff.
I have all the faith in the world that the rest of you could too, if you'd only stop feeling sorry for yourselves all the time.
Those same people who insist I have such hatred are also the ones who think the 48 Laws of Power are really scary and disturbing, and that "they hope no one ever implements them". And my response is "were you born yesterday? they already do".
You're intimidated by what sounds like hatred when I talk...when what I say is simply attempting to be as realistic about the situations as possible. But who the hell wants the hear the reality?
