My water bottle is covered snugly in form-fitting neoprene, Strapples. It keeps the water colder, looks cool, keeps it from getting dented when falling from my clumsy hands, and seems to repel dirt and stains. I put a black carrying strap with a chrome buckle on it too so it looks hard-core, but really it's just a 0.6L stainless steel water bottle.

I really like neoprene.

It brings back so many good summer memories.

I'm an amateur sponger.

'nuff said!

I used to have Neoprene gloves. They tired my hands out after a while because they resisted my fingers flexing but for the absolute coldest of days they were absolutely amazing. I could be out in the snow for hours and my hands would be toasty warm and there was no problem with the gloves getting wet. They were also great for really rough work that would tear your hands up.

I have a love/hate relationship with the texture of it.

I like to mash it if it's the squishy kind. But if it gets wet? The relationship's over. Wet neoprene = yuck to my hands.
