I never really liked flip flops with the thingy that goes between my toes, I usually opt for the other type, with the band that goes over my toes. However, those are more expensive so I rarely buy them anymore. I use normal flip flops now, it does take some getting used to but it is possible.

I wear those most of my life.

Not sure it's just my preferences towards loose footwear, or upbringing -- it's a norm here.

Oh, I love the things. Easy, convenient and comfortable. I do have a tendency to slip them off though when I sit down.
