Those microfibre blankets, SOOOO SOFFFFFT and REAL silk, and those big deep hugs that don't leg go, and the cuddling, i love cuddling with my dog and a book in the middle of winter (used to be my boyfriend instead but oh well) and water the same temperature of your skin on your skin. And my scalp being scratched everywhere, feels liKe heaven! But again I always scratch... I guess it's an aspie thing

I always scratch behind my ears or my eyebrows and sometimes my scalp.

I like just wearing shorts and nothing else and wrapping myself in my fleecy blanket really tight, like a cacoon.I like the feeling on my skin.

The warm feeling when in a hottub or hot bath.

coming in from a cold day whereby in winter, it can get as cold as minus thirty five or so degrees celcius, wrapping myself in my blanket and having a warm cup of hot chocolate.I also wear my nice warm wool winter socks.

I love when somebody scratches my scalp or plays with my hair. My mom always used to comment how it looked like I was about to fall asleep every time I got my hair cut. It makes me immediately stop fidgeting, and I will space out unless I'm actively talking to someone. I love it.

Being "Mummy Wrapped" is probably my favorite.

Soft.
Soft t-shirts and socks; fuzzy blankets and sweaters; my cat's hair after brushing; my wife's skin

Smooth wood.

Splashing in water.

Don't know if this counts as a sensation but I like taking empty glass jars and throwing them breaking them and seeing all the little pieces fly and sparkle.

Fingers running through my hair - relaxes me.

Pleasant spring and summer breezes.

Something cool and smooth to drink or eat.

Smells of the spices and the coffee aisles at the grocery store.

Fingerpainting.

The pull of a kite in good wind.

The flapping of canvas awnings, kites, boat sails, in the wind, but not too loud or too fast.

Smell of a feed and grain store.

Hum of a diesel locomotive.

Steam locomotive and steamboat whistles in the distance.
Diesel loco airhorns in the distance at night.

Rain on a tin roof.

Maybe it's odd for a guy, but I like having my feet rubbed

I enjoy getting into a hot car during the hottest part of a summer day when its 105+ outside, and it must be 125+ inside. For some odd reason that is very stimulating and it recharges me; one of my more sedate ways of meeting my High Sensation Seeking needs. That works until I start perspiring. Somehow perspiring messes it up. When that starts happening I turn on the air conditioner.

I will have to schedule time to read through all of these. My Aspie son seems to really enjoy being on the elevator. He says the pressure feels good. I actually do not care for them at all. He once rubbed his face against a cover for my Garmin that I had knitted until the button came loose.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.
