Set of scientific tests related to Autism Spectrum Disorders
ok I know this is off topic... but holy crap... 3pnt141592653589793 is a long name... I wonder what it stands for... and you didn't even make an introduction post, so I had to comment on it somewhere...
Is that sarcasm? I would expect a MathGirl to recognize Pi.
Anyways, my results for the tests I took.
Your result for The Broad Autism Phenotype Test ...
Autistic/BAP
You scored 129 aloof, 109 rigid and 108 pragmatic
Scored 39 on the AQ Test.
EIQ Test:
Self-report Component
Subscale IQ score = 55
Subscale percentile = 0.13
55
According to your self-report answers, your emotional intelligence is very poor. People who score like you do feel that they have trouble dealing with their own emotions and those of others. They struggle to overcome difficulties in their lives and they are unable to control their moods. It's hard for them to understand how best to motivate themselves and reach their goals. In addition, they find social interactions quite difficult, for several reasons. They may have trouble allowing themselves to get close with others, finding it difficult to be vulnerable enough to establish intimacy. They also report having trouble offering support to others, likely due to the fact that they do not understand where others are coming from or they lack ideas about how best to help. Perhaps by working on your problem areas, you can become more confident in dealing with your own emotions and those of others.

HAHAHAHA
If the pnt was a dot, I would have recognized it. I was in extreme ADHD mode yesterday, my eyes kept darting around the screen and I couldn't even form a coherent sentence.

Coppied from my "getting to know you" thread.
BAP: scored 120 aloof, 89 rigid and 97 pragmatic
I can't finish the AQ the questions are too imprecise.
EIQ: Questions 89 and 90 I think I got right base on a purely academic understanding. Question 93, insufficient data.
Subscale IQ score = 82
Subscale percentile = 13
HSP: 13
'Reading the mind in the eyes' test: 18 (would have done worse if it hadn't been multiple choice. My interpretation of their mood was rarely an option)
Aspie quiz: Question 17 I fail to see the relevance. Religious/Spiritual aspies will say yes others likely no. Some of these seem to deal with oddly specific obsessions/behaviors that I suspect wouldn't be found in most of the community but maybe I'm unfamiliar with aspie culture. 79 . . . more religious questions. These really need to be removed as irrelevant. 85 that depends on what my initial judgment WAS. 91 Yes, but the views of my peer group are not in sync with the views of most people. That's why I chose them for my peer group. 107 whats with all the religious questions? Seems a bit of a bias on the part of the test designer. Very off putting. Isn't 137 a rephrase of 101? I hate answering questions twice. 152 . . . another repeat. 154: Are shaving and haircuts norms of hygiene? 163: Was once told by my optometrist he'd never seen someone so photosensitive. 177, another oddly specific question. I admit answering yes but still oddly specific.
Your Aspie score: 128 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 62 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie
Your MBTI type: INFP
Sorry for the commentary. I drive people who try to give me tests like this IRL nuts too.
In the process of taking this one now. 13, Yes. And also attended special ed. I would assume most aspies could go either way on that one and it seems to have little relevance.
15: Come on, it's not like aspies don't date. It's just a bit difficult. Also, what about gay/bi/lesbian aspies who have dated the same sex?
Your Score Is 23 of a possible score of 39
The average score for men in the age range 30-39 is 17.
Other people in your age group scored between -48 and 39.
Aspergers could be an appropriate diagnosis; professional further evaluation is needed.

I just took that test as well, expected it to be longer and more comprehensive instead of just 15 generalized questions.
Your Score Is 13 of a possible score of 39
The average score for men in the age range under 30 is 18.
Other people in your age group scored between -39 and 39.
Aspergers is possible but not likely. To explore further seek out a professional evaluation.

Sorry, humor fail on my part. I was just thinking that my immediate instinctive reaction to the questions I felt were vague and poorly phrased was something that was also seen as stereotypical Asperger's behavior and stating in a somewhat sarcastic fashion that I found the idea of a doctor lending that reaction to the test diagnostic weight amusing. And I was referring to greater likelihood of diagnosis for the behavior, not being more Aspie than thou.

Test 1
Your result for The Broad Autism Phenotype Test ...
Autistic/BAP
You scored 132 aloof, 85 rigid and 118 pragmatic
You scored above the cutoff on all three scales. Clearly, you are either autistic or on the broader autistic phenotype. You probably are not very social, and when you do interact with others, you come off as strange or rude without meaning to. You probably also like things to be familiar and predictable and don't like changes, especially unexpected ones.
Your Analysis (Vertical line = Average)
*
aloof Distribution
You scored 132% on aloof, higher than 99% of your peers.
*
rigid Distribution
You scored 85% on rigid, higher than 34% of your peers.
*
pragmatic Distribution
You scored 118% on pragmatic, higher than 93% of your peers.
*
diagnosis Distribution
You scored 8% on diagnosis, higher than 79% of your peers.

Test 5
Ah, the HSP stuff! Read her book last winter and much of it hit home for me.
You have indicated that 23 of the items are true of you.
Test 6
Shocked to find I scored in the average range on this one considering every other score so far. I think it's only due to limited choices and process of elimination, which is how I worked this one out. I looked at each of those sets of eyes and my initial "intuitive" reaction was one of genuine cluelessness in every instance. And here I used to think I was quite good at intuiting what people were experiencing inside.
With any of these things where they give you pictures of faces or eyes and ask you what the person is feeling or thinking, I often found myself shouting "I NEED MORE INFORMATION!". Especially on one of the previous tests where they give you a hypothetical situation that some woman has just broken up with her boyfriend. How should I know how she's feeling?! Why should I assume she's upset about it? Maybe he was no good for her and she's glad to be rid of the guy so she can stay home and recompile her kernel. Or low-level format that terabyte external hard drive he gave her for a birthday gift and auction it off on eBay. MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE!
Your score: 27
A typical score is in the range 22-30. If you scored over 30,
you are very accurate at decoding a person's facial expressions
around their eyes. A score under 22 indicates you find this quite difficult.
The correct answers for the ones you missed are:
5: worried
7: uneasy
13: anticipating
14: accusing
19: tentative
20: friendly
23: defiant
25: interested
35: nervous
Test 7
Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 62.
In other words, you got 86% correct.
Test 8
Your Aspie score: 164 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 49 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie
Your MBTI type: ISTJ
Took an actual Meyers-Briggs a few years ago and came out INTJ. Not sure where this test is getting its MBTI type from.

Very interesting stuff. Thanks for gathering all those tests!

Wouldn't it be better to do a full format and then wipe the free space for good measure?
Anyway her reaction I easily deduced because that's the common reaction to someone breaking up with you unexpectedly. There was however a later question dealing with a woman and a man on a blind date. I lacked enough information to say how he would react because that requires knowledge of his personality that was not present in the material.

Not sure I see why. Low-level it once and be done with it (I like Darik's Boot and Nuke). Full format under Windoze? Not something I'm going trust. Ever.

That reaction is considered "expected" in my opinion, culturally speaking, if we are in the West. I personally did not see that there was enough information about her personality to make such an assumption.
Then again, I'll cop to being an icy b*tch who wouldn't be crying over the cad. His shortsightedness, his loss. I have other things to do.
