I guess my opinion differs, I would rather work towards acceptance and understanding within society rather than isolate myself from it expecting others to come to me and me not to have to compromise and come the other half. Any NT looking at this sort of thing would likely come to one of several potential conclusions I figure: 1) Aspies are thinking they are superior, 2) Aspies are all a bunch of crazed idealists or 3) if Aspies want to be that way why should we non-autistics bother with them?

I'm an Aspie, my oldest son is HFA, my youngest son is supposedly non-autistic and their father is an NT... would I want to isolate myself from the rest of society when it's better that we all work towards a common goal rather than give more reason for discrimination. What you'd propose could just as easily backfire too...

I'm guessing that my plan is out. Well if I can't plan things at least get me in charge of the military for goodness sake!

Well, we have to do the proper preparation before we begin the military training. After all, we must get organized, and we must find good equipment; the skills stressed by an Aspie armed force would be very technical simply because many of us would be horrible grunts. So, I would think that for our armed forces we would need a lot of money and stuff like that. I think that as Aspies, we would be better at artillery bombing, maybe airforce, and probably we would also be good guerilla fighters, we really need to avoid loud noises and places where clumsiness might be an issue.

I self nominate myself Cheif of Staff for the armed forces of Asperger Nation.

What kind of armed forces shall we have in our nation?

I reckon because were "lovers not fighters" huh huh. We should adopt a similair style to the Israeli Defence Force (minus the human rights violations and warcrimes) of a kind of conscription of sorts.

High tech and lots of cash doesn't neccesarily mean good value for money or effeciency, in Falluja there was an example of the marines using $15 million dollars worth of expendible equipment in order to take out a mortar position manned by 3 insurgents and the mortar was a crude home made device.

Also i think it is still official that the most casulties infliced on the modern US soldiers came from the AK47. A cheap shoddy assualt rifle.

Excellent thinking Mr. Laz! We need bright minds such as yours running our armed forces. As aspies we are more lovers than fighters which is sad too because we aren't very good at getting the loving. However, you are right, we don't have good money for high-tech and low tech equipment can work pretty well too. We need to have an armed forces though, nations without them tend to fare worse when faced with invasion.

So, do we have any other volunteers for the position as chief of armed forces? Speak now or forever hold your peace.... or something of that nature.

Well, if we get our own nation there should be things we could offer to the world... like the outsourcing of hi-tech jobs someone mentioned before.

Since we're already assigning positions I ask to be in charge of military technology. I'm already arranging lightsaber production and conducting research in the field of antimatter.

Regarding places, i would think the easter island is perfect, it is totally isolated in the middle of the pacific ocean, it would probably be enough to sustain the first waves of inmigrants from all the world and then we could expand the island... we'll figure out a way. Maybe we can buy the whole island from the chilean government for a moderate price. There are less than 4,000 people in there and I think we could relocate them to good places around the world so they leave happily... we just need to start the fundraiser right away.

And just in case the all seeing eye has caught our plots let's use 1337 from now on:

Lovers not fighters is right, that's why I advocate breeding rather than an armed invasion.



Umm...maybe this is where the conscription idea comes in?

Oh DARN!! ! I am not skilled in 1EE7. Oh well, I guess the everseeing eye will know whatever I am saying. Let's see, yeah we will need a person for our military technology department. Ummm..... what all will we need. We'll need an idea for a government and positions for that government. We will need a diplomat person so we might need an NT. We will probably want advisors for various aspects of our nation like economy, education, infrastructure, environment, technology and the like. I think that is about it.

Uhhh.... what form of government would y'all want. I would prefer something sort of oligarchic but we as Aspies might do better at democracy too based upon the number of people and our voting styles. Smaller numbers of people and voting based upon the merits of the candidate(as opposed to looks) would allow for greater use of democracy.

Easter island looks good, already has a decent infrastructure in place. Plus we can continue making money with the tourism thing (restrict their travel to certain places on the island, of course.) Maybe we could turn it into a sort of hippy retreat or something, hippies are nice. But if we are to eventually take over the world, we MUST, MUST, MUST, get into international banking.

Maybe we should go for a City state republic like ancient Greece

All right then I'll be in charge of the tanks. I'll be tank commander. Who's in charge of the other land based units? Anyone in charge of the air force?

Count me in. Do you need someone to make sure your income is maximized and your outgoings are minimized? I have lots of experience in managing finances and have excellent references to recommend myself.

We might since we have to create basically our own money. Or steal a great deal from all over Earth. You've got to do something. LOL.
