It was a joke. I do not think you're a supervillian. I just think many of your remarks on this thread are uncalled for and a bit mean-spirited considering the circumstances.

There is no need to have cynical knee-jerk reactions over "sins" that you can't even prove others are guilty of.

Just because many people are lying, deceiving and predatory swine doesn't mean EVERYONE is.

Because someone could be dying here and all you are doing is being silly and selfish.

The Internet is not separate from real life except in the minds of people with too much abstraction in their brains to understand reality when it bites them in the butt.

It works like this: There are human beings, real ones, behind every computer screen, and behind every screen name. They are communicating by typing into computers to each other. It's no different from speaking on the phone or using walkie talkies, yet nobody claims the phone isn't real life or that radio waves aren't real life.

In this case, human beings are dealing with extreme suffering, and all you care about is bouncing around trolling people.

When you get older, and you or one of your loved ones is facing death, and you're separated by a long distance and can't get to them easily, maybe then you'll understand. At the moment you're still at the age where most people consciously or unconsciously think they're immortal and don't have to deal with such serious concerns. But once you get to where you understand this, you will look back on yourself and see nothing but selfishness, self-absorption, and callousness, to the point of cruelty. You're rubbing salt into someone's wounds and you think it's funny just because you're using a computer to do it.

Time for some logic.

If you go through Seanmw's post history, you will see the genesis of this relationship from quite some time ago. If this were a scam, it would require Seanmw to have done months of planning and faux posting just to get a few hundred dollars. That just seems...illogical.

If he's lying, and you don't make callous comments about him, then you don't hurt him.

If he's telling the truth, and you don't make callous comments about him, then you don't hurt him.

If he's lying, and you do make callous comments about him, then you don't hurt him.

If he's lying, and you do make callous comments about him, then you hurt him really really badly when he's at a really difficult time in his life.

So if you make callous comments, there's a good chance that you hurt him really terribly. If you don't make callous comments, there is no chance that you hurt him really terribly. So you don't make callous comments. It's that simple. And given that you're not clairvoyant, then what you think doesn't enter the equation. There are some things you just don't do, no matter what you think, and this is one of them. I hope a moderator gets to you soon.

Besides, one minute you say it's because you don't believe him, and another minute you say it's because the Internet isn't serious. Honestly I think you're just trolling for fun and don't give a crap either way.

You are being nasty and callous. Therefore, there is a 1 in 2 chance that you are hurting him terribly. If you were not nasty and callous, there would be 0 chance you are hurting him terribly. Therefore, choose the way that has the least (none at all) chance to hurt him and shut up already.

I sincerly hope that he Sean gets enough money for the plane ticket. I would donate in a moment, but I'm having current financial issus of my own.

As for ANYONE who is having issues, thinking this is a scam, then I have one pretty simple suggestion for you:
Don't believe him; don't donate.

Reiterating it again and again and again and again isn't doing anything but making you look like an idiot. As for "warning" other people, I honestly think you're doing the opposite as you've made yourself come off quite uneducated and made the other side of said 'argument' show that they do have valid proof. Please, go to a website or even thread that is better suited for your currently crass mentality.
