No. I sleep with an mp3 player. Before that, a CD player or the computer speakers on. Before that, the radio on. Before that, a headphone radio. Before that, a cassette player. I did get in bed with stuffed animals because that was the routine (my grandparents used to put them in with me) but i would kick them out when i was ready to sleep or push them far away from me.

Yup! I have one of those giant teddy bears that are won at carnivals or whatever. His name is Theo and I lounge all over him durring the day, I only get to sleep with him at night if hubby doesn't come to bed when I do... if he does then Theo is kicked off the bed cause there's not enough room

I've grown a huge dependence on my teddy bear and I can't sleep without hugging something. I've been moving away from my teddy by hugging on pillows and hopefully the dependence would be totally gone when the something becomes someone (i.e. I would probably have to date/marry someone who enjoys spooning).

"A" Teddy? No. A number greater than one? Yes.

yes I do. I didn't sleep with one as a kid.... a.mother's rules about no toys when you're supposed to be sleeping. whatever. But about 10 years ago, after valentine's day, there was a huge teddy on clearance at Safeway. I saw it in the bin and felt sorry for it that nobody had wanted it, and plushies are very soft now days, much better than when I was a kid. So, husband bought it for me. I sleep with it now, and have to take it to hotel rooms even, if I have any hope of being able to sleep. It's a pretty hugable pillow, just shaped like a bear, and I'm used to it now. Oh well.

I don't sleep with them, but I make weird plush aliens out of cast off socks. I do however, sleep with an electric fan. I pull it under the covers with me, and when it's on, it fills up the blanket like an inflatable tent. The sound helps me sleep, and I started putting it in my bed this summer because it would get too hot.

Yes. I sleep with a several stuffed Domo's. Image

I also have a Tigger pillow that I travel with along with Domo and at home I have a giant body hug pillow. Sometimes I sleep with my Duffy bear from Disney too. I'm 33.

I still sleep with my German Shepherd dog stuffed animal that my father purchased for me (nearly) 10 years ago, later this summer. Part of the reason I sleep with my German Shepherd stuffed animal is because if was the last "big thing my father purcahsed for me" and the other part being he's the perfect size to wrap my arms around and then curl around.

No, and I never really have. Sometimes I liked to have stuffed animals on my bed when I was a small child, but I never really grew attached to one or two specific ones.

No, but I've thought of getting a plush memory foam teddy bear because I like squeezing memory foam so much.

I slept with a toy animal in my bed last night. :) And didn't have any nightmares either.

does your teddy accept hugs? i guess probably only from you or from friends and not from strangers.

my teddy seems to be rather unconcerned about who hugs him.

my favorite teddy died when i was about 8. when i went to my bedroom one afternoon, i saw that he was lying on his back (he usually sat up) with his eyes wide open, and i could see that he was looking in a direction that was pointless to look at, and i then picked him up and shook him to wake him up and one of his eyes fell off, and so i stared into the remaining eye and saw that it did not register me. he is buried in the backyard of my childhood home as we speak.

my newer teddy is hard to impress. he seems like he wants his privacy so he sits all day on his bed in another bedroom and just thinks about stuff (i surmise). he looks like he is always engaged in his own little investigation of thoughts, and so i rarely bother him.

I used to up to about age 5 or 6, and since then, I've always had real dogs (and for the past 6 years my wife), so no teddy. Nothing wrong with it though; and it's nobody's business if anyone does sleep with one at any age. I see plenty of adults with WAY more pillows in the bed than they'd ever need for their head or knees, etc. And they make those huge person-size pillows, which are probably in reality, adult-size teddys.

I usually sleep cuddling a little grey teddy, or a body pillow, although, I prefer a warm bear much closer to my size... (females are good too... :P )
