To be perfectly honest, no, nobody has called me ugly (not that I know about anyway).

Many people have said I look like a 1940s movie star. I'm not sure I look that good; but, not meaning to sound conceited, I am aware that my physical appearance is one of my few strengths.

I don't think I have, actually. I've been called fat a few times. The people who said that would probably call me ugly if I wasn't fat.

Since Autists usually have some social issues, they sometimes appear to be physically unattractive.

From the series "s**t pretty people say to ugly people to make them feel better for themselves".

People have called me ugly, but other people have said I'm beautiful.

I'm not sure who I believe.

I think you're both right really, it depends on how "ugly" a person is. An average looking person can become gross if there's something unappealing about them. And some people just look like Dennis Franz . . .

I have been called ugly so much in the past that whenever somebody actually tries to compliment me on my looks I take it as a joke and I get offended, having low self esteem is such a bummer :?

I have had many people that kept telling me that i have pretty eyes but the rest of me is ugly.
And when i was very young, they told me i'm pale like a dead person.

Regrettably not many of the women I meet share your viewpoint - but then if they held the opposite views which you described then I suppose they are not the type of people you would want in your life anyway. This isn't a feeling sorry for myself thing at all; I'm content to wait at this stage and I certainly don't want anyone in my life who is not accepting of these kind of things.

Surprisingly, Never! I agree with above statements. Charisma is a powerful thing

Are you suggesting that you consider that the fact you've never been called ugly is down to charisma or do you think that it is because you are actually attractive/not-ugly. Or some combination thereof?

Worse! I've been called a "butterface". As in: Wow she's hot, But Her Face yuck. (But her face = Butterface) I think I'd rather have been 100% ugly than have a "hot bod" and a heinous face.
