alex, you seem like a good guy, but I gotta agree... the ads are kinda unnerving. I suppose that's just cuz I dun like eye contact and you look poised for a vicious staredown... and I don't think I can win against a picture. Love the forums, intimidated by the death stare ;)

Can someone put links to the videos on here , not the videos, just the links

Is the creator of the videos autistic, as they state?

Something's really weird about them

In the comments, the uploader claims to be "autistic" (though the homepage proclaims they have both autism and Aspergers), often distinguishing between AS and autism using statements that refer to "autistics" as innocent and less perverted than aspies, who, as the uploader claims, are compulsively driven to play "pocket pool" in class and engage in violent behavior. 8O
I guess the uploader hasn't read the DSM 5.

Hmm, interesting thought that autistic people might have a prejudice against people with Aspergers

I thought it was a neo-Nazi pretending to be a curbie parent or a neo-Nazo curbie parent
as they seemed to have a love of German nationalistic music and obsession with the Holocaust

The irony is that if Asperger's syndrome were known about in Nazi times we'd probably have been the first to be despatched! Almost certainly many autistic people probably were though

These videos are extremely offensive. The linking of "aspergians" and the holocaust was a disgusting use of propaganda. Fortunately the production value and silly music make them hard to take seriously.

Sweet baby Jeezbus. I just pissed away my precious time on Earth watching that mess.

Kydz, this is what happens when you mix bath salts and booze.

College dorm+failing classes+high and drunk buddies=these vid gems.

Not losing sleep on that s**t. Back Mr. Ketel One.

Nothing says New Years like Ketel One and the sound of automatic gun fire in the hood.

The Alex Plank ads don't bother me in the least... and you'll find that if you click on one of those ads, it simply takes you to Alex's website. You can learn more about Alex there, other than the fact that he owns WrongPlanet. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that at all.

Adblock Plus for Firefox = Internet Heaven.

I don't see any ads at all!

Alex is a cute guy but, yeah, his glasses kinda hang down low. I think if it was positioned higher this thread would've been superfluous.

Actually the glasses improve the situation for me,without them the stare would be painful.

he's actually kind of pretty. I'd be uncomfortable if he did that in person but digital representations don't bother me.

The real question is - how much did Alex pay himself for the advertising space?

Alex should jump in a pool at the Y and make a video and picture like this one:

Oh and here is the link since embed wont work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvSdLOQ7CZY

It would make a great screen saver!

It's too much. Self-branding is one thing, but don't abuse your own creation (which is popular for other reasons) by mistaking yourself as King of the Aspies. Perhaps if the ads were more action-based, like pictures of a speech being given or a video being made, it might make more sense. At the moment it's like "look at me being pretty in monochrome, oh and I own this site and that's why you're here." Vomit. Hire a PR firm or a real ad person and they'll say the same thing, only more politely and for more money.

It's his site, he can do what he likes

Everyone's a critic but not many are creators - Alex is.

Hey, at least his photo is stylish.

I have seen many ugly photos of people trying to promote something and they usually had the opposite effect. But Alex's ad can truly charm you into clicking on it :D

With the admission that Alex is easy on the eyes, I do find it a little creepy. It's like he's our dear leader, always watching.
