Indeed most are out for themselves. I agree.

I think that self-interest over the greater good is the root of many problems current and ahead.

Im sorry its half 1 , I have no idea why im awake arguing on the internet.

I do know where to find it

I have sensed that you think yourself intellectually superior though

I feel an urge to put such people back in their place

I have been forced to become aggressive from necessity due to living under the cosh of a brutal NT dictatorship

I'm still alive so it's worked as far as I'm concerned!

It's probably also a side effect from having to take anti-depressants long term

By " living under the cosh of a brutal NT dictatorship" i assume you mean reality smacking your ego in the face.

You are more NT than me, hence will always look down on me as you think yourself neurologically superior
I reject this though

You are too autistic to be on an NT forum but too NT to be on an AS forum without coming into conflict with people
like myself

I can't put you anywhere; I was being facetious

Lol

That made me laugh!

It's good to have a strong, healthy ego!

Life will soon destroy you without one in my opinion

How NT am i?

Do you every stop making assumptions and projections?

I reject that too because its not true. Just some meaning YOU CHOOSE to assign.

I can't be precise, just more NT than me

I live my life how I choose instead of how society want me to live it - it's better as a result!

Everyone assigns their own meaning to things - that's human nature

Without anti-depressants, which improve my confidence, I would be dead, no two ways about it
My ego is therefore being artificially reinforced by them

Hence ego is needed to survive

If you take ego away completely there's a strong risk of suicide imo

I am very biased against 'Ntness' I'll admit it. No one said people in the autistic spectrum weren't allowed to be as biased as the NTs - I like to give it right back! I argue in favor of the point that autistic people can be just as biased as NTs, hold similar opinions, and so on. I don't think the division is all that profound in terms of what we may think, but mostly in terms of how any particular person expresses it.

I wasn't trying to get on your case, but pointing out that sort of statement is the sort of thing I was talking about.

I apologize that you got the impression I was saying "holier than thou." I just meant "more autistic than thou" as meaning "I am more autistic because of X trait." Lots of people do it. I've caught myself doing it, although I really wish I wouldn't. Sometimes I get frustrated in some discussions because of how they end up that I say something to that effect.

Anyway, I think I understand better where you are coming from now. Thank you for the elaboration.

No its not.

Its subjective reality. Try not to assign the lowest worst most despicable motives and attributes to everyone.

As you are an individualist why do you regard all others as uniform?

sentences like "You are more NT than me, hence will always look down on me as you think yourself neurologically superior" mean that basically you are judging me on the basis of people who are not me.

I wasn't having a go at you specifically

I think that in the world I inhabit there is little opportunity to feel good about yourself within an NT culture, hence stronger ego defences have to be built up, which can be seen as dysfunctional in one way but in another they can be vital for survival.
Peoples' characters are an amalgam of the battles they've had to fight in my opinion.
