He's not poof, he's just... metrosexual.

I've heard that it's a "sk8r" (skater) look.

I work with a lady who has a 2nd job at Old Navy. A lot of teen boys come in there to buy the women's jeans, since they are very tight and work well with this look. A few of my other coworkers who have teenage boys go to her Old Navy to buy the jeans. She says that boys are usually embarrassed about wanting to buy their women's jeans, but she gets so many parents coming in to buy those jeans for boys that she thinks it's sort of petty that they are embarrassed.

In conclusion, I think that tight jeans of any color are mainstream. Unless assless chaps are involved. In which case the person wearing the tight jeans WITH the assless chaps is definitely a poof.

I go to art school and practically everyone there is androgenous. It's impossible to tell someone's gender by looking at their clothing or hair, which is exacerbated by the tight jeans phenomenon. You really have to check for the presense of breasts if you care to know a stranger's gender, but even that has a lot of grey area. Anyway, I like it. It's entertaining to people-watch.

I like wearing skinny jeans. The androgenous look is awesome!
