You wouldn't believe all the funny looks I got in Tescos yesterday - Everybody else was wearing shorts and T-shirts (and, in some cases, flip-flops....
it was a very hot day you see, anyway), and I had a sweatshirt and a coat on.
I don't normally notice anybody looking at me when out and about, but it was somewhat difficult to miss, even for me.
I have actually been stopped in the street a couple of times with the question "are you warm enough, mate?" in the past in similar circumstances..... "No - I have the metabolism of a skink... happy now?"
