Yes, that's what Anbuend has said on my thread ( What is the difference..?). That the Introversion on here is not a correct definition , BUT I actually like this one cos its about a real reason why some people are I rather than E , which is different 'optimum--function-stimulus levels". That is that the I's brain is already so (happily) busy on internal data that it is quickly overwhelmed by much external input, whereas the E's brain is relatively "unoccupied" and craves outside stimulation to put it in optimum functioning condition. This "level" can change, after prolonged stress for instance it may descend , making a previous extrovert into an introvert until they recover. (?)and an introvert into an asperger , no no ... no .. into an introvert under serious pressure.
But the idea that an introvert has to be shy is inaccurate anyway. They simply usually prefer solitary activities.
The raging debate is about WHY!!As in could it be that they are actually aspergers? See my thread!
