I don't like them. I like vegetables. Although I've never been a picky eater. One of my autistic sons was a very picky eater. There was almost nothing he would eat and he was very skinny (Yes he said he liked chicken nuggets, the ones in Happy meals. There were only four and he ate one and a half and called that dinner). Kinda like typical stereotyped autistic kids. However when puberty hit everything changed. He was hungry all the time. He would eat real meat, with skin and bones, real fruit, real vegetables, potatoes with skin, spicy, "ethnic" food...etc. I'm so glad that I can cook anything for dinner now and he would eat it. He's now a burly young man.

You're very young and your food preferences may change any time. It might be a good time to broaden your horizon and discover all the yummy stuff the world has to offer. ;)

Actually...it's listed in the latest edition of the DSM.

"Love of chicken nuggets, especially McDonald's McNuggets, is a diagnostic trait of being on the autism spectrum".

"The majority of NT hate chicken nuggets, and the majority autistics and aspies love them. Though the favoring of chicken nuggets by its self doesn't mean the patient is autistic, its 90 percent proof by itself."

So...ya learn sumpin'new everyday! :D

I was hoping that it was obvious that I was being sarcastic.

And I am glad to hear that its really the opposite of what I said there (at least for the sample population in question- your friends) that ONLY NTs are dumb enough like chicken nuggets, and that only aspies are discerning enough to eschew them.

Everyone likes chicken nuggets, autistic or NT or anything else. Chicken nuggets are wonderful things (whether you prefer fast food over-processed stuff or organic homemade versions, they're delicious!).

Questions like this are every bit as useless as asking whether all autistics like to pee on fence posts.
