Unfortunately, I think that I would probably have to wash the aluminium foil to recycle it and it would therefore not meet with my water conservation standards

:? I'm not sure about that.. recycling metal involves melting it... Wouldn't anything you might have gotten on the foil burn off when they melted it down?

Yes, but when its in storage at the local collection place they probably dont want stinky rotten food stuff on it.

If you really need to use a coin operated washer/dryer wherever you live, it's a good thing to have a little piggy bank and everytime you get a quarter in your spare change...drop it in.

Get plenty of bug traps. You wanna get a good trap to get rid of those fruit flies in your kitchen (and put your traps over sinks, windows, wherever the critters are bound to show up). Your other option is to not buy fresh fruit. :P You'll also want ant/roach traps for other places like under you bathroom or kitchen counter, behind the fridge and behind the stove.

If given the choice between having to give up an Internet connection or Cable TV...give up the cable! :P Phht we're all aspies of course we would make that choice. But yeah every show can be found on the internet in some form or another anyway.

As evil as Walmart is, they have the cheapest groceries. I wouldnt recommend buying perishable food in bulk.

Get an air filter for as many places in your place as possible. Replace filter oftens. I've noticed that we Aspies tend to live in stuffy conditions without even realizing it...not our fault really.

Put aluminum foil over the little metal plates on your stove if you got them to reduce need for cleaning.
