Strapples, you would not be able to breathe--i like it when i am held very tight, but then i usually cant breathe, so if you do get into that cuff it would be like to one minute and then you would have to get out
not true... we could create it so its very very tight but not too tight to restrict breathing Isaura :) and we would create a way to breathe under that kind of pressure, maybe forced oxygen.

oh and also i might loose ability to breathe with this disease i have anyways so i could just have a place for my ventilator hook up ha ha ha... then i could make it as tight as i want to because i wouldnt be breathing anyways... my ventilator would be doing it and i would make a pressure sealed port for my ventilator connector... ha ha ha!! !! !

you have to talk to people who do deep sea diving, i would imagine it would be similar, maybe you should try to dive? it would problably feel very similar, you would be under a lot of pressure

the problem is i have profound physical disability see http://www.alinssite.info and soon will not have good arm movement... i cannot swim anymore... i cannot walk anymore... i would have to piggyback another diver! and like your saying they breathe under that pressure, sooo we could use a SCUBA tank to supply pressurized air to people while in my device! the tanks could be very large for users who like to sleep in their device (like me) and smaller for people who use during the day for a few hours.

For all of you who said you like cat's fur: RABBIT FUR IS SO MUCH BETTER. No, I don't have a rabbit. I don't like the smell and mess of pets (or people). I am the only animal whose smell I can stand.

I like long, warm showers. I mostly like the feeling of water pounding on my back and shoulders. I like wrapping myself up in my blankets in the morning. It's interesting because they always get thrown into disarray while I'm sleeping.
I used to have some really soft and comfortable shirts that were my favorite to wear. I don't know what made them so soft. They were just ordinary 50% cotton / 50% polyester. Maybe the weave. I'm also not sure what happened to them. I think I probably got paint on them, so they're probably sitting in a drawer somewhere. Doesn't mean I can't wear them. :D
They felt great on my shoulders, especially. Speaking of which, I like deep pressure on my shoulders. I suppose most people like this - they call it a massage. I never get those.
I like deep pressure just about anywhere that's not too bony (except my gut). I love tight hugs, but I don't get those either.
Sometimes my feet tingle, and I like rubbing them on carpet. It almost tickles, but not quite.
I actually like being tickled, if it's by the right person. Most people stop at just the wrong time, because they think I don't like it.
I like to have somebody recline in my lap, where I can wrap my arms around them. My boyfriend always did that. Yes, I said boyfriend!
I like pulling my hair back and then knocking it back down, even though it makes me look like a mess.
I used to rub my lips a lot, especially when they were dry. My lips haven't been that dry for a while, so I haven't been rubbing them.
But my favorite is definitely rubbing my feet on the carpet, or my bed, or whatever is under them.

i dont have any animals of my own either... mom and dad have a dog, and i hate dogs, they are so loud

on the shirts there i dont really like cotton that much... i wish everything in my wardrobe was neoprene because i love how it hugs all over. i like deep pressure EVERYWHERE, as long as the person giving it to me isnt bony.

i thought about it and do like getting my neck tickled at certain times for certain durations.

yes i like when people sit in my lap, my girlfriend used to do that before her parents cut me off from seeing her, she would sit in my lap and lay back on me he he.

i like getting kisses, especially very heavy wet slobbery warm ones... i miss those...

I'm going to have to say it...

I like hugs, particularly the feeling of having a woman in my arms. The feeling associated with that is the one thing that makes me feel alive inside. as well as seemingly providing me with the ability to truly understand the soul of another person.

Also, I seem to have the interesting ability to absorb NT emotion through touch (that is, when embraced in said hug, I can actually feel the NT range of emotions (whereas there's only 4 I normally feel, and two of them don't have NT analogues), and the people on the other end actually have told me afterwards that they didn't feel whatever strong emotion they were feeling before. I've employed this deliberately, especially when I have to console someone who just suffered an emotionally traumatic event (and it works far better than any other consolation methods I have tried). I do have to be close to the other person before I try this whole thing, however...

I like the feeling of butterflies in my stomach due to anticipation. I like feeling fatigued and weak too.

for me i also have that ability for some reason... its also odd because i can sometimes just feel like im talking to that person even though we are just hugging... that used to happen with my girlfriend... we would end up hugging each other for hours not speaking a single word!

i was just thinking to myself about some things... and also the fact im headed to the hospital for some x-rays friday. and a thought popped into my head...

lead aprons... who here likes the way it feels... *raises hand* i admit i have to say yes... and ive fallen asleep countless times while getting my big yearly x-ray series done (takes about 20-30 minutes) i decided to do some googling today and lo and behold i find the ones that the radiologist wears that goes all the way around you...

http://www.axms.com/productcart/pc/view ... product=82 not bad on pricing either... even has the neck thingie like my radiologist has, sweet sweet pressure on my neck, i love pressure on my neck! another cool thing is, simple to mummy wrap too... just get someone else to help you and they strap your arms inside with the belly strap ;) man... i would fall asleep soooo easy that way...

too bad my parents dont understand me enough to do interventional things like this otherwise i would be looking for this under that christmas tree ;) about time i stopped loosing sleep to my sensory issues...

so heres a few questions,

when you go for x-rays do you like the lead apron?

would you sleep in one at home if given the opportunity?

would you not be embarrased if sensory issues made it necessary to wear in public?

i would answer yes to all three.. if people asked me on the third id just say "aww shucks... forgot to take my apron off when going to break..."

I don't mind much of anything when it comes to sensory stuff... like, my integration is pretty NT. Pain hurts, soft/fluffy things are good, if I'm too hot I want to be cooler and vice-versa. Stuff like that. I don't see anything unusual about my senses.
