I still am wondering if there is anymore info on Toronto though. Because that's where I plan to move sooner or later.

I've never been there myself, but others I know say that it's kind of a cold city; people are more uptight than they are in the west. But I do think it's good for Aspies to live in big cities. Where do you live now if I may ask?

Texas.

Well, that's probably an improvement, then. It'll get cold in the winter, of course. But once you have your citizenship you could always transfer to Montreal or Vancouver. :)

I see. Well I would like to learn French, so in case I wanna move to Quebec I can fit easily right in. Plus I prefer Toronto out of all the Canadian cities though, since it's almost like the United States, except more tolerant and friendlier.

Perhaps. Here is a conversion chart I invented for states and provinces, but I didn't know where to put Quebec:

Ontario = New York
Maritimes = New England, esp. Maine/RI
Territories = Alaska
Manitoba/Sask = Midwest states that begin with 'I'
Alberta = Texas
BC = California

I used to live in Raleigh and loved it, and I plan on moving back soon. It's very Aspie-friendly and one of the least "Southern" cities in the South.

I live an hour south of Nashville but that doesn't help me whatsoever. I don't have any transportation so I if there were meetings or events, I couldn't make them. I STILL haven't connected with another living Aspie on the face of this Earth. I am always alone and I never get to explore what it means to be an Aspie. I am just locked in this shell, always having to hide and cover what I am.

Ah, great...moving from Puerto Rico back to Texas...Dallas to be exact...I hated it while I lived there, but it's too noisy and crazy here and I feel like I am constantly in a daze and stressed...so going back...geez...no wonder I feel like I'll never like any place...both seem to be horrible for us...what to do...hmmm...

Well, at least Dallas is less noisy than Puerto Rico...

Where's Quebec.

I'd say Quebec = New Mexico

You think so? I thought maybe Louisiana because of the French influence... but of course I've never been to any of these places. :P

Ah, nevermind. I picked New Mexico because it's the only state that has another language (Spanish) as an official language, as with Quebec being (French), but Louisiana could work also.

But Quebec is pretty friendly overall.

That's interesting (I live in NC, too.)

Have to wonder why Boston was put into the "Best" category, as Aspies have notoriously poor navigational skills and Boston's roads are positively labyrinthine. It is a nice place if you are taking the T, however, and Cambridge is beautiful.

I know from personal experience that I have a little panic attack whenever the prospect of driving into Boston comes up, though.

My ideal place is a place where you will not get any dirty looks from police officers (in Texas, they're practically state-sponsored terrorists) if you don't at least pretend to be conservative.

Where the hell does that happen, and how are they able to tell someone is Liberal by looking? I know some people look like they are glaring when they are really squinting against the sun light, upset about something, or their eyes are just made that way. 'sigh' a little paranoid in my oppinion, Tim. 'pat pat' Are you sure they are actualy glaring at you? I get blamed for glaring when I'm not from time to time. If I can be fasly accused, all other people can.

They are people just like us, it's just another job possition. Being fired at your job for having a liberal bumper sticker on your rear car window, and loosing in court; now that's unfair! Not to mention attitudes that aren't "freedom like" or valuable. When something like that happens, a person should speak out, not disrespect our ancestors by throwing our hands in the air and quiting. Though, I'll admit, being in a city that tolerates less power abuse is a plus.
