Oh my God, a lot of you have the same problems as me... Erasing a chalkboard, popsicle sticks (-vomits.-), light touch...

- Shirt tags
- Most clothes, actually
- The sound of paper being folded, erased on, or turned (as in a book)

all these things also, i dont mind clothes just some materials, i hate the tags.

I will never, never, ever, master oragami, i hate to fold or lick paper. or stamps

Popsicle sticks are one of the eeriest of all.

why do these things have the better of me?

The smell inside new cars makes me want to vomit.

Accidently scraping the metal part of a pencil against paper is awful.

I hate the sticky feel of sun-screen on my body. Also having sand all over me is yucky.

Anything near my eyes or face.... it causes pain!
if I turn around I get dizzy..argh!
I can't stand anything stale.. it takes me about 20 minutes to pick out a loaf of bread.. I have to touch all of them. Unexpected touch or anyone too close to me.
That loud noise the tv makes, and loud noises hurt.
Penut butter...!The smell makes me GAG!
I crave very soft colors. Bright colors totally overstim me.
I think that is it...

the feel of raisons & sultanas, when mixed into something with a 'gooey' consistently, like porridge.

there was this man who used to run up to me and hug me everytime he saw me. so, one day- when he was with lots of friends- when he finished hugging me i said (in a child-like voice) "my mummy says the way you touch me is wrong!" all his friends fell about laughing and he never attempted to hug me again. :)

One for me happens at work because of tactile hypersensitivity. I work in a group home and sometimes the residents (all female adults) are a little affectionate. If one of them puts her arm around me, even if I see it coming, I'll sometimes have an exaggerated startle reaction (like on a cartoon when someone gets startled and they end up hanging upside down from the chandelier) and I'll have a look of panic on my face like I'm being attacked or something. What I really hate is the effect it has on the other person - they always end up feeling really bad because they think they must have hurt me or something.

Vulnerable adults like that would be easy pickins' for sex predators who like older women....

Well, just so you know them ladies are usually well insulated from folks who tend to go "out of bounds". I strongly and firmly am adamant about protecting the elderly from threats, especially when they can indeed be vulnerable like young kids. I think I'll ease up on my humor a bit here.

A sensor intigration nightmare for me: My Siamese cat jumping on my bed several times, each of which I am half asleep. He does it so fast I can't catch him! And then I had another cat (a burm) that would meowl constantly, throw up on the carpet once in a while, and then use parts of it as a kitty box. His new owner really likes him though! Fun, eh?

The reason that i brought the dreams thread back from the third page was because this nightmare thread was brought back.

Also, the reason for my poll topic versus.

I was interrested to see if they were given equal air time which would people find easier to discuss.

Prior to this post the math was easy

47 posts on dreams
94 posts on nightmares

twice as many are likely to share their night mares than their dreams.

My nightmare would be that people would feel more comfortable discussing their fears. I fear that would be reiffying.
