I enjoy nudity with loved ones, both for explicitly sexual purposes or just for hanging around...watching TV with someone while naked is a pleasantly intimate experience. As for myself, every now and then (but rarely) my clothes feel irritating and constricting in a sensory way and, if I'm alone, I alleviate it by being nude for a while. Otherwise, I'm always clothed except while bathing. I have absolutely no desire to do any sort of public or private nudist activities.

I hope you don't mind this question, but- have you found that an extended window of time spent naked with your SO has taken some of the zing out of your whoopee life together?

Honestly, I'm really not that sexually-driven. I enjoy the closeness and intimacy of non-sexual contact far more than I actually do sex (and even still, my version of "sex" hasn't gone far beyond mutual mas-...err, well, this isn't the adult forum), whether it's clothed cuddling or doing whatever in the buff. Neither I nor my partners have ever had any issue with a lack of "zing".

thank you for your forthright answer :) I had just read that nudism was a potential hazard in that realm, for some folk. good that you were not one of them :)

My enjoyment of nudity can be entirely separate from arousal. Maybe I'm just weird like that. My sexuality is anything but conventionally functional.

i have observed that in nature there is humor if you know where to look for it. also, i read that scholars indeed have detected traces of bona fide humor in the original biblical writings and in the torah. there are facts that make me believe that the creator could crack a smile now and then. :o

Pfft, just look at naked human bodies and the things they do. If those weren't made with a cosmic tongue firmly in cheek, then I'd be very wary of God's design aesthetics. :?

Dude, they're so weird! I think we sexualize genitalia too much to really appreciate how mind-bogglingly wacky, nonsensical and gross (in a fun way) our parts really are.

I suppose if it were not that way, then we wouldn't be here at all, especially laughing about 'em. :)

To each their own...I personally prefer to have at least something on, most of the time not due to body shame or anything just feels more comfortable. Sometimes if I am the only one home and I take a shower or something I have no issue walking around the house naked...but if i did that when people were home I might get some grief about it. I don't really see why nudity is always associated with sex in society, I think that is part of the issue if nudity itself wasn't sexualized it wouldn't be such an issue. That then makes it automatically 'inappropriate' for a lot of contexts and causes stupid issues like the risk of being charged as a sex offender for life for peeing outside.

I tried visiting a nudist beach once, way back when I was 21 and cute. I put zinc oxide on my nose to prevent sunburn while still in the car before I made the long trek downhill from the highway to the beach. I already had a decent "sleeveless shirt" tan on my arms. I stripped down to my "jelly" fisherman-style sandals (I have tender feet due to my SPD and can't tolerate being outdoors barefoot), but less than an hour later in the bright sun, I had to put my T-shirt back on because the backs of my shoulders were starting to look pinkish and I did not feel like dressing back up and climbing the steep hill just to get the zinc oxide out of the car. So I spent the rest of the time bottomless with just my shirt and sandals on (unless you want to include my white painted nose).
I believe this place was called San Gregorio? It was right below California Highway 1 in the Santa Cruz area. Nowdays I'm too old, too heavy, and too scarred from surgeries to even relish the idea of public nudity, even in legal locations.
Taken earlier that same weekend in 1985 at another beach:

Nobody shot any pics at the nude beach fearing they wouldn't be able to get the film processed.
RE: "peeing outside", we had a cold case of beer cans and it was way cool to be able to pee wherever we felt like it while on the beach.

i think autistics would make great nudists cause they don't treat people's bodies like objects as much.
