Lol, at school I keep bumping into people in the hallway because I walk fast and some things catch my attention so I don't notice people walking in front of me. Awkwardness.

I walk slow. I enjoy pondering and looking, as opposed to going as fast as possible. I also have weird feet.
I'm always asking people to slow down when I'm walking with them(my brother mainly).
Someone who used to be my friend would pass me on the way to school in the car, and if I was actually walking fast or at a decent speed she'd comment on it.
Apparently I walk in a really depressing fashion(head down, looking at feet, holding rucksack straps[there's no pockets in my uniform]).

Yep, and loud. Some people have a hard time keeping up with me. And as for sound, some say I'm the loudest walker they've ever heard. But I don't try to stomp while I'm walking. I must power walk or something.

My younger brother is also an aspie and he walks very loudly. I must admit it annoys the hell out of me, but then many sounds and movements do. I've never been able to understand how he finds it so hard to walk quietly; I'm a clumsy walker but I don't think my footsteps make much noise, unless I'm walking down a steep hill.

I can walk quietly but I have to try. My shoes are the primary source of the noise but I still walk pretty loudly if it is on a hardwood floor.

Yeah, people used to make fun of me for it, and my room-mate is still uncomfortable with it...but then again people used to make fun of me for everything, anyway. On the plus side, I used to use it at work to deliver pizzas up to the rooms in the resort. My boss called me the "speed demon" because of it; snagged me a $12 tip once because of it :)

A guy who used to live in the next unit, used to walk very loudly and heavily. It drove me nuts, when he would arrive home after work, and make the whole house shake and vibrate! And, he would talk very loudly, too. :x I was so glad when he moved away!

I walk pretty fast. I absolutely hate it when people in front of me are walking slow and I cant get around them. Annoys the crap out of me. Sometimes I walk at my normal speed, but move left and right. That way I dont have to slow down because I cant walk past them. I dont know why, but walking slow bothers me. Some people walk at such as slow pace it makes me wonder if they will ever get to where their destination is. If they prefer walking at that speed, thats fine, but they should at least have the common courtesy of moving out of my way.

Im referring mostly to my crowded high school, but I have encountered this elseware.

When I walk, im generally pretty quiet. Im trying to "master", if you will, the art of walking. I try to walk smoothly and quietly, almost like im gliding gracefully accross the ground.

That would drive me utterly insane! Even the sound of my brother sniffing downstairs can be enough to send angry shivers down my spine some days. Is that incredibly intolerant of me? :(

Yes, especially on the days I worry I'm going to be late for assembly - not that I have actually ever been late for assembly. I find it annoying walking through corridors where people walk extremely slowly, I walk past them instead or become impatient. Usually I speedwalk to school with my sister.

I walk fast for someone with legs the same length as me. Taller people always seem to walk faster.

Yeah but do you ever walk into people deliberately?

No, because I've never seen anyone walking into other people deliberately. I'm not trying to make you feel stupid. but I don't think that bumping into others on purpose would make people respect you more.

I always tend to walk fast. I don't feel natural when trying to 'stroll'.
