Madame Fortune:
"Ah! I see that you have a brighter future...much brighter. You will meet a tall dark man."

Everyone would be tall and dark in a "brighter future": think about it.
We'd all be silhouettes.
We'd have to wear sunglasses all the time.

Madame Fortune:
"I see it now. This week's lottery numbers...will be picked out by a machine. I see many people buying lottery tickets. I see high hopes. I see many people losing money. The winner will be someone...it's coming to me now...ah yes...a person who buys one of those tickets. There may be more than one winner. There may be no winners at all...but I can guarantee that whoever wins will have bought at least one ticket and be over the age of..."

talking with strangers (i'm sure this has been brought up somewhere within the last 56 pages.)

i can't stand going grocery shopping with my mom. we get to check out, and she wants to talk to the cashier. i can't stand it. it's like the cashier is just doing their job and wants to get things done. . .why does my mom feel the need to try and start up a conversation where there doesn't need to be one?
it's so embarrassing lol

Why don't people understand you can still be honest without being rude or mean? Why don't they also understand you can still tell people things they don't want to hear without being mean?

Why do people even think "honesty" entitles them to be a jerk or make fun of people or be bullies?

Just something I have noticed online and at Babycenter, the website had decided to enforce the rules in my birth club so they got more group owners for it and now people are complaining about "no freedom of speech" "can't express their honest opinions" and all these people who are complaining are bullies. Before the rules got enforced there, a few members got warnings or banned so they would go back and create a fake account and troll on their birth board making posts to create drama just to give the group owners a hard time because they were pissed they wouldnt let them be mean to other members. So the rules got enforced and more group owners came while two stepped down (the ones who were sending them warnings for their behavior and then they got banned from the Babycenter staff).
They are just pissed they aren't allowed to be jerks anymore without getting a warning nor banned. Funny stuff but also my pet peeve.

I can't understand for the life of me why NTs insist on staying in a miserable relationship. They would rather be with someone and be miserable than be alone and be less miserable.

p*****s, all of them.

Some women are afraid to be single so they stay with the person.

One of my autistic mates does this a lot. It annoys me.

They do it because it's a way to show sympathy.

Why the value of one's viewpoint is measured by social standing rather than factual accuracy.

The Meaningless Intrusive Speech. Things that middle aged people seem to have learnt by heart, and you struggle to answer properly, only i have just realised it is SCRIPTED! So don't be fooled. Don't rummage around your brain for a proper explanation for your aunt as to " what are your next plans" (meaning in general life, wtf) , she doesn't really care, and you're getting self conscious and embarrassed because you do not have a "plan" to submit just yet. Don't go on about what you can and can't do to fix the fact that "you're still single at your age" or " how to you plan to go back to work"....just dodge: they don't care and don't realise they are embarrassing you.
proper answers: " i'm FINE" (i know it doesn't fit, just make up a sentence carrying the general idea of fine and doing good and full of "plans". )

Honestly, these people who claim their freedom of speech are ignornant. Freedom of speech is enumerated in our bill of rights which are the first ten amendments to the US constitution. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Amen ... ution#Text

If we read that text literally as it says only congress could not take away freedom of speech. By what I have read and what I do understand of our constitution it has been expanded to mean and imply that only government(federal, local, state, or county) can't abridge or take away freedom of speech. Those site owners are in the right. It is their property and they're enforcing their rules with their own property. This is called property rights.

Think about Jimbeux's house and his computer. Jimbeux has a computer and it is his property that he bought with his own money. He bought the house with his own money as well. As a comparison it is similar to jimbeux's stepson having the right to use jimbeux's computer when he wishes without Jimbeux's permission. If Jimbeux's stepson had the right to use Jimbeux's computer when the stepson wished wouldn't this be violating Jimbeux's property rights. His stepson can't be entitled to this as a right and neither can these posters be entitled to this so called right of free speech(in this instance) they're demanding because these posters are violating the site owner's property rights by doing this. This is what Jimbeux was trying to explain to violet_yoshi. Jimbeux, if you see this will you please tell me if I am correct or incorrect?

I don't get how NT's make walking look so normal and natural. I've worked on my walking posture and swinging my arms naturally, but I still look awkward! If I'm not wearing a coat with pockets, I'll carry a bottle of water with me to keep at least one of my hands occupied.

I don't get it either as I walk automatically. I notice my son was a toe walker and all that, is that what you did as a youngster?

it seems that lively conversation for neurotypicals is so second nature...like there's (almost) always something to be said in reply - something to add to the humor. if that makes sense. i just don't get it

I don't think I ever experienced the toe walking thing, but I've heard of it. I just walk very mechanically and really fast. And I just can't seem to swing my arms right. I look at my shadow a lot and try to make adjustments in my posture and stride, but thinking about it just makes me fall out of rhythm.

I look in windows of cars, shops and houses. Then quickly look away so people don't think I'm about to break in.
I've still got this weird hand shake thing when I walk through certain areas and I can't stand up straight when I walk. I also noticed today when I was walking two people were walking on the other side of the street way ahead of me and in a few minutes I was way ahead of them.
I have posture shoes that help me walk straight but they're really clunky. They look like astronaut boots.
