Haha They are kinda cute actually, but their jaws scare me. Whenever they give me a lick I'm hoping they don't think I'm too tasty. 8O

Surprisingly, Never! I agree with above statements. Charisma is a powerful thing

Are you suggesting that you consider that the fact you've never been called ugly is down to charisma or do you think that it is because you are actually attractive/not-ugly. Or some combination thereof?

Well, point one is that I am probably of average attractiveness, I have good upper body muscle build which seems to help. The second point was simply that you can be physically unattractive, yet still possess charisma

I've been called ugly by uglier people, but it's part of the bullying. Being gratuitously insulted by people I barely knew used to be my everyday life until I withdrew. I learned that I'm not a loser or ugly or whatever but people insulted and bullied me because they thought they could walk all over me because I look "good natured".

I was often called ugly when I was younger (I'm middle-aged now so I guess that nobody is looking at me at all now to judge!) and it is quite a hang up of mine. I was usually likened to a monster of some kind, most frequently Lurch from The Addams Family.

I found that the people who insulted me tended to be less attractive themselves and desperate to claw their way up the social ladder by putting someone else down.

I've always taken pains to look after my appearance but have never been able to wear fashionable clothes because of my size - not of my waist but the size of my head, feet etc, which I can't do anything about.

Therapists have told me that it's not my physical appearance that's at fault but rather my body language. There is probably some truth in this but I will never know how much. I think it's six of one and half a dozen of the other.

I don't know how I am supposed to change my body language though. :(

No, not by anyone else by my family. If anything, I probably don't get called it enough.

I find you attractive. Can I say that or are you offended and want to demand counselling and compensation?

Worse! I've been called a "butterface". As in: Wow she's hot, But Her Face yuck. (But her face = Butterface) I think I'd rather have been 100% ugly than have a "hot bod" and a heinous face.

I like butter. Can I spread you on a bit of toast and eat you? ;)

And don't listen to the haters, by the way.

I've never been told I'm ugly or unattractive, but I've also never been told I'm attractive either (other than by family members/family friends, but they don't count lol)

Hell yeah of course!
You havn't lived until you've been called 'ugly ugly ugly' to your face by a beautiful women you loved and married. Unfortunately for her, beauty was only skin deep.
