It may just be the nature of things though - people are discussing serious issues that are important to them at the time - don't know how you change that.

Post a positive, uplifting thread of your own perhaps?

I struggle with the tone of this site........ quite right!! absolute pedantry all round, I now have to debate singular and plural like a 7 year old.

I often feel my mood slipping away after visiting - agreed - it kills it. Its quite toxic a tiresome.

Aspies are supposed to be pedantic :D!

You have missed the point, it wasn't to show that you'd omitted the letter 's', it was to respond that the poster of the post in question hadn't said you could change the tone of the site with one thread, she had said threads - many of which obviously can do so, hence nullifying your point :?

answeraspergers has indicated elsewhere that he doesn't know how to make quoting work, so it takes a bit of extra work to separate what he is saying from what he is quoting.

I find quoting to be rude. - i do it less obviously because i believe the person who posted it (is being quoted) will spot it.

I have a suicide post on here people quoted quite annoyingly to the OP

i am not at all surprised you feel that way, considering that you would consider up to be down and down to be up if i said otherwise. it was based on multiple reports and moderator agreement, not some random hyperlexian judgment call.

if you have any concerns, kindly take them to PM communication with me or another moderator as this issue is no longer open for discussion.

The OP is as far as I can work out in the minority, but he and you and anyone else that is unhappy with the general tone or nature of threads on WP can post as many threads of your own concerning whatever topics you choose and I for one promise to keep well away from them! - how exactly are you identifying them?

I'd have a read of the thread to identify whether I related to it or not.

Where exactly is "dishonesty and corruption of spirit" in evidence on this forum?

Negative post anyone?

Oh, I misremembered or misunderstood. I thought you said somewhere you couldn't quote.
