I'm crap at those kind of tests . I got 8/60 which falls in the 3rd to 5th percentile , which is about 72-75.

I took a good 30% hit on it also --- from my typical 130s down to 100s.

I got 133 on this test. I don't know what I got on IQ tests as a child but it was probably very high. This did seem like a test that I would be very good at. One particular activity which seems to demonstrate the limitations of my mind is chess. I have never found anyone who is as poor a player as me. I suppose it has to do with seeing the big picture, forming strategies. Anyone else here find chess difficult?

My father briefly tried to teach chess to me, but I can grasp it as much as I can grasp advanced rocket science . I've never been good at thinking x steps ahead.

[Your Score] - 514 = [Total]

[Total] / 114 * 15 = [Total_2]

IQ = [Total_2] + 100

I got my test back today and it came out like this:

Dear Friend,

Thank you for having solved the Test Of Logical Relationships

Test date: August 30, 2019, 5:38 pm (CET/CEST)
Raw score: 32 of 40
Attempt: 1
IQ: 139 (SD15), with current norm

I just feel like it's bogus because I don't think I'd have an IQ of 139 if tested. It was fun though.

I do. In my youth I thought I was awesome at it, b/c... well, I was a bit "optimistic" and didn't understand my disparate skills (and lack thereof). Then I met my NT husband and I discovered that I was not awesome and perhaps not even good. I stopped playing.

@firemonkey, which link was the 154? Are you accepting and/or frustrated by your spiky profile? (as I come to terms with my verbal limitations)

https://openpsychometrics.org/tests/FSIQ/1.php
https://www.psychologytoday.com/gb/test ... gence-test You can get a few results for free but have to pay about $7 for the full results .

Re the spiky profile : For me it's frustrating that signs of a learning difficulty were never picked up on . I think that was par for the course, though, for someone of average or above intelligence who was at school from the early 60s to mid 70s .

I do know that when it comes to everyday tasks people have , by and large , expected me to be more capable than I actually am . They often don't see beyond the verbal ability.

It does taking interacting with me for a longer period of time , in a less verbally based setting, to notice my weaknesses .

That could also have been picked up on ,the gap between verbal and non-verbal skills, by cognitive tests. I get the impression that such testing happens more frequently in the USA than UK.

I took the 1st one again and scored within 3 pts of what I did last time: same verbal (121), +8 spatial, -4 working memory.

The 2nd one I hadn't done. Vocabulary 113 - much lower than my spatial, but apparently still good. What's "funny" is that I know from experience that as a fast learning I can "artificially" increase it. In my youth I was scoring horrendously low on verbal and so "studied" vocabulary lists for a bit and was Top score. Then over the years I've lost it. If I wanted to (I tell myself) I could study again and bring it up. So much to do in life! I tell myself I've "replaced" it with other languages. Although perhaps linguists would say there is room for all of it.

I.Q. is just a drop of water in an ocean of creativities. This test only uses signs, the name said is inductive reasoning.

I got 113 (20 correct answers out of 38. if I remember well).

In Wechsler IQ test I had PIQ 104 and VIQ 126, FSIQ 118 (V 2016).
