I live on a college campus where liberals abound and differences are plenty. I don't think it would cause much of a stir if I wore a shirt that hinted at my Aspie-ness. In fact, statistically, I can't possibly be the only Aspie on campus. Realistically, I could be the only one, but with a student population of around 25,000 I doubt that.

Don't be too sure. I recently discovered that there is another Aspie living next door to me. 8O He just got a diagnosis (he's about ten or so) and my Mom and I have been trying to help his parents get some more information.

On topic, I badly want the Aspies Unite!! ! one, but I probably wouldn't wear it to school--don't feel like dealing with the inevitable questions about it. I'd definitely wear the Oops, Wrong Planet one, though!

I couldn't. I'm too private and I don't think you should tell every single person your diagnosis. I fact the very thought of walking around my hometown wearing something like that makes me shudder with fear.

how about you?

Same here, although it's not whether or not other people would find out about my diagnosis, more that I know it would invite questions, and if there's one thing I hate, then it's having to answer questions and talk about my feelings/very personal issues that I can't really explain in words.

I like the "Oops, wrong planet" shirt I'd wear one of those. My T-shirt collection right now is HUGE, since I've collected quite few from various places and events.

I also have a yellow sticker on the back of my van that has the puzzle piece logo, and says "High Functioning" in blue lettering. Nobody's ever asked me about it, but I imagine out on the road it explains why I hang out in the right lane running only 70 when everyone else is doing over 80

I hate tags very much

I would wear one if...
>it were comfortable
>it were tagless
>i had one

it also cannot be bright pink or orange... they hurt my eyes too much
