Once a week, maybe less. I find the norms of hygene way too strict!

I had 2 years without brushing them.

Lucky me, they are strong.

when i was a kid, i never brushed my teeth. now, i brush them usually once a day, unless i don't go out anywhere. i'm really particular about my toothpaste, though. it has to be gel, not paste, and it cannot be mint flavored. right now, my toothpaste is cinnamon flavored. if i smell mint toothpaste or see someone brushing their teeth, i get seriously grossed out. i really can't stand it. sometimes, i don't use toothpaste at all, and just use water on my toothbrush to wipe away food particles. i do chew a lot of gum, though. i also never floss, because my teeth are really crowded, and the floss keeps getting stuck between them. my teeth are permanently stained and i know i have a lot of cavities. i even have a tooth that really needs to come out, because i've had so many cavities in it that it's more metal than tooth!!

You know they make strawberry-flavoured toothpaste for kids?

Also orange flavored.

(As we spell it in the US.) <<as I'm editing, I realize that's probably rude, and everyone on this board knows about the spelling. It just bothered me having it spelled differently in the same post.

Just had to come back & answer the actual question ~ typically once a day in the morning. And if I ever thought of it, I might do it later as well.

I clean my teeth after every meal. If I can't, I use mouthwash. I don't have braces, but a little compulsion :D

I clean my teeth twice daily. Mostly to avoid cavities. I do not have any obsession over it. Besides, more than this can cause damage to the gums.

I brush and floss after every meal. Still I seem to have a new cavity every time I visit the dentist.

I normally clean my teeth twice a day, in the morning after breakfast and before I go to bed. I sometimes only clean them in the morning if it gets really late (later than midnight or 1am usually) as then I typically just head straight to bed. Outside of that situation I'll typically struggle to sleep if I realise I've forgotten to brush my teeth until I've cleaned them.

I don't like brushing my teeth. Although it's only a simple, mundane task what doesn't take 2 minutes, I still have to really force myself to go to the sink and do it, otherwise I will whine, ''I can't be bothered!'' and go straight to bed. But I know how important it is to brush my teeth, so I know better to not resisit.

So I do manage to brush them twice a day, also using mouthwash.

I know I should brush my teeth for health reasons, but:
1) I don't like doing it.
2) I don't like the taste of toothpaste and the taste stays in my mouth for a long time.
3) I always forget to do it because it's not part of my everyday routine and/or I'm distracted by other things...
These reasons apply to me aswell.

I brush them every 14 days, give or take a week, without toothpaste, usually, and each time I do it while taking a shower.
If I'm going to the hairdresser, dentist or doctor, I brush them twice with toothpaste.

I think the reason I dont do it every day is because I've gotten the idea that I won't be able to fall asleep if I do brush my teeth. It's one of those things that makes me wake up, so I just never do it before I go to bed. And in the morning, I just never seem to have time. Checking wrongplanet.net forum is more important.

Edit: Whops, I just realized that this topic was somewhat old. Sry.

I have to be reminded. It seems to be more when I'm going to meet people I do it, which luckily enough is more often than not now.
