It does, but sometimes I pray it would stop for awhile, like when I'm trying to sleep or if I am thinking about my one great fear in life and it won't frickin' stop. However, music works wonders on my brain and it helps soothe the maelstrom in my mind.

The only time my thinking ever shuts down is when I get overstressed and have a shutdown! My brain is totally quiet only then... :?:
