I heard a bona-fide SCREWBALL called bardok (with his troll accomplices Siv and Hotrod) in the IRC chatroom on this site last night talking about shooting his neighbors who he called prostitutes. He sure sounded like a convincingly dangerous person. I am beginning to question the calibre of people this site is attracting. It's actually very disturbing to read these posts, which in no way represents the Autistic community.

So the President is a Black man, get over it.

I seriously hope that the FBI are monitoring this site.

Yikes! While I don't wish the FBI were watching us - I can understand if they are.

This thread's getting a little scary. And I get a little turned off when people speak as if their theories and the theories of others are facts - because then the next guy comes along and runs with it - and that's how all rumors and mass hysteria starts.

Now Dec. 21, 2012 - that's something you guys should fear!

Yes I think people should sit back and relax a bit.

If people lay back on watching the news and just calm down a bit I think it will do every one a lot of good.

The worst that could happen is you are less stressed.

Say the serenity prayer 5 times and call me in the morning.

I think its fun to debate about these things but honestly I'm not that worried.

The media is always shouting about some drama it will all blow over like it always does.

No offense to anyone .

In a way that's kind of the problem. We've been letting stuff 'blow over' for too long and the 'experts' have had far to much free rein so now we're in a hole because we haven't taken them to task decades ago.
This current situation is far more serious than the 'experts' let on. I think today was the first time in history that a govenment took it upon itself to fire an executive of a private company (GM). For some reason that seems a little bit strange in a repulic.

A few more Trillion for banks and brokerages, 30 billion for auto companies? We will make demands, fire the CEO, and what is the differance?

He did not go to Harvard, and that is who is getting all the no questions asked money.

In autos, stock holders, bondholders, Unions, suppliers, are being told to take a paycut,

On Wall Street, AIG is taking taxpayer money to pay off banks 100%, and not saying for what.

All the Harvard boys are getting million dollar bonsuses.

They claim insured assets, but never state what these exotic financial products are.

Having spent a few trillion of future debt on top of the loss of our houses, jobs, savings, and our childrens futures, they could at least try to explain what it is they are paying off with our money, and how it came to be, and how much more there is.

People who did not go to Harvard could never understand words, and should not bother their betters if they know what is good for them.

Dec. 21, 2012 is real, they know it, so they are building the Harvard Bunker with everything they can loot.

Or, it could be that the auto companies are just badly run and hopeless, except Ford, and we have too many in a small market. GM loves SUVs, not the best for the planet.

It could be that if the banks are allowed to crash, it will crash all banks worldwide, all stock markets, all insurance, destroy the value of all money, and it is a good idea to keep the world running day to day while this is sorted out.

The best view is half of the largest twenty banks will not survive the year. Citi is toast. There is at least another $12 Trillion in losses. Geitner can't stop it, fix it, all he can do is try to soften the landing.

Problem two, the FDIC does not have the people to close the big banks. The banks are insolvant, so first thing is FDIC has to pay off all deposits up to $250,000, Then it has all the bad loans, lots of good loans, the customer base, larger than any other bank, no one could absorb them, and the real estate, worldwide.

Bank of America, Chase, and seven more to go. AIG has one small department that leases almost all the commercial aircraft worldwide. If they go under, no more air travel.

The UK has nationalized their banks, Europe has bought a lot of stock to recapitalize their banks, partial nationalization, and we are doing the same.

It is down, but we do still have 80% employment, all the companies on the stock exchange are still running, and we need to keep the check clearing and ATMs working.

20% is bad, but the 80% needs to be kept working.

Doing the right thing takes a time machine, and arresting Senator Dodd before he sold out America for $43,000,000. He has been getting $2,000,000 a year from banking to deregulate them.

Barney Frank did the same in the House.

Heres the kicker, the biggest losers in all this will be the Banks and Brokerages, and Congress, Strict Regulation and the end of political donations.

The Stock Market can survive without these Leaches, it will be a better market with good numbers, no more Enrons and Worldcoms, no Banks running a skim.

The Market wants a fair game, a level playing field, and a Government that will not be having sex with Bernie Madoff's daughter.

After the fire is put out we can talk about the causes, but for now, grab a bucket and keep it from spreading.

The problem with Panics and Famines, is half of everything gets destroyed, when we were only 20% short.

In this case we might lose 10% of the world economy, a panic can make that 50% and a major war.

All of Western History is Obama's fault.

That's the exact reason I like Obama so much. I've been waiting decades for some SOB who I could blame all this s**t on and now I've got him by the b**ls. Ironically it's some poor college educated black guy of all things so who could have guessed that this would be how it all came about.

If the FBI is watching me, God I hope they are getting paid time and a half, at least for reading my posts on here as some are very long. If they are actually watching me in general, the least they can do is just move in and help out with the kids.

Anyway, I am curious, are you referring to the end of the Mayan Calendar with the 2012. I believe that was the correct year, and it was somewhere in December about that. But if that was the case, the planets just align strangely which only occurs every 5000 years. Since human civilization seemed to survive it the last time it occurred, I'm not too worried. Now, the Mayans did believe that it opened a door to the underworld. I think they also believed the earth was flat too right?

The last I heard some scholar figured out that the Maya dropped a decimal point so their calculations aren't really to great but you do have to give them credit anyway. Come to think of it what ever happened to that society? Well in some ways I guess it just goes to prove that almost any 'advanced' culture eventually bites the bullet when to many 'expert' get involved in politics.

Were you home schooled by some cult?

The Mayans knew all. Dec. 12, 2012 is the end of the Long Count.

It is based on the longest period we know, when the Venus and Solar year start on the same day, which happens once every fifty two years.

The next one is Dec. 12, 2012.

The Long Count is based on 500 times that, about 26,000 years. This marks the end of the Fifth Sun.

A Sun ends when the Feathered Serpent comes and swims around the Sun, causing bright lights in the sky, and some big holes in the ground.

Proper atire is wear old clothes, something you can live in for years, put out all fires, and eat uncooked food.

Four Suns have been destroyed, the fifth is ending. The God returns, his passage cleanses the world.

The second problem comes less often, but happens at the same time, we cross the Galatic Plane, where space is littered with stuff.

This happens once every 35 million years, that period fits with the extinctions of the past when 90% of all life died. Dinosaurs were two cycles back. There were nine before that one.

A seed depository has been built in ever frozen Norway, some very large mines have vanished from maps and records.

I love Geology.

I'm not to worried. I still have my 'blue blankie' that I had when I was an infant and it protected me then and it hopefully will protect me in the future. Ignorance is bliss.

If we are both still around on Dec 13, 2012 let us have a big laugh about this nonsense.

Nobody, even today has come up with an accurate rate of procession which 'experts' estimate ranges from something around 25,000 to 25,800 years. I guess with all of our modern technology 800 years more or less is pretty accurate.
Harking way back I think some ancient cultures actually had it pegged but I can't find the number right now.

The Sumarians called it Marduk and gave the same count of years.

A crater in Mauritania, one cycle back, Barringer in Arizona, two back, the Salt Pan in South Africa, eight cycles back, four out of five hit the ocean, everybody has flood stories.

Pluto is no longer a planet, there are several things recently discovered out there, and moving.

Astronomy has been very focused on the outer region.

A planet sized comet, the big one.

I have a lawn chair, and will be on top of a mountain with a keg or two.

I kind of think that's what a lot of the 'old' guys did back in the 'day' on top of the those platforms in Sumeria. A keg or two and some stargazing really helps one loosen up. They were masters at making beer and inventing 'laws' for people to live by so they couldn't have been to bad. Probably Libertarians as far as I can tell.

Very good laws, only women were allowed to make or sell beer.
